The cover has some slight discoloration and minor edge wear, but it has absolutely no damage, such as splitting, creasing, rips or tears. The gold embossed lettering. Of the title and author, is extremely well preserved, both on the front cover and the binding. The page edges are just starting to discolor some, but they have not succumb to brittleness, and there's almost no foxing. I actually didn't see any foxing, aside from a touch on the inside of the cover, but I also did not look at every single page so it's ... morepossible there's a minor spot or two hidden amongst them. The gold leaf on the top page edges, is still very much intact, and still has a great deal of luster. The binding is tight, and there are no loose or missing pages. This is a very nice antique book. While there is lots of wear and discoloring from age, all pages and the binding appear to be in tact– entire book is clearly readable. This book is in very good condition. The hardcover has some spots on the front which I have shown in the first photo. Binding is solid as are the pages. Only issue is with the page inside the cover and I have clearly shown that in photo#5. As shown in the 3rd and 4th photos this was a school book. It is originally from a small school in Orange. New Jersey. No pages are damaged.
