set_id=880000500F" Hi! Up for auction is a collection of 37 first editions of Walter J. Blacks"Classics Club" dated between 1932 and 1951(several were not dated) Looking at all the bindings. I noticed no water damage, no odd smells and for the pages I reviewed, no writing. The colors of the binding cloths are all consistent and bright, with the only issue being some dust bunnies along the tops of the books and the pages are slightly off-white from age. I have tried to provide high resolution photos. The corner edges do have the expected handling bumps here and there but I saw nothing I'd call damage, especially for a set of book being 60 years old. There is one book that has some liquid? or cleaner damage on the cover as shown. There are maybe 2-3 that have some damage to the pages from something probably being dropped ... moreon it or vice versa.
