VINTAGE "RAGGEDY ANN and ANDY: Camel with the Wrinkeld Knees" 1924
VINTAGE PUBLICATION OF"RAGGEDY ANN and ANDY and CAMEL WITH THE WRINKLED KNEES" written and illustrated by Johnny Gruelle. Published by P.F.Volland Company, Chicago. Publishing date 1924. As you can see in photos, this book has been damaged by cutting the pages of the first chapter. The book was frequently read but most of the illustrations are in very good condition for their age. There are full page illustrations and small illustrations scattered throughout the story. This book is part of the Volland"Happy Children" Family and there are several books in the series which includes'Raggedy Andy' and'Raggedy Ann' There are no page numbers, but I estimate 90 pages. Book measures 9 1/2" by 6" Although you can get a good idea of the story, I would say the value of this book is in the colored illustrations, ... morewhich would make great prints for a child's room. I have tried to show the worst pages in photos. There are many more illustrations that are not damaged. Thanks for looking.
