They come with a black leather type fabric seat. One seat has a small damage spot on the corner that can be seen in the photos. The slip seats are easy to reupholster by popping them out and fabric can be stapled on and the seats can be reapplied. The chairs have the traditional one piece flared back leg, tapered front leg and solid H mahogany cross stretcher. The overall size of the chairs are 18 inches wide, 17 inches deep, 40 inches high to the chair back and 19 inches high to the seat.

A novel published in 1912"The Rise of Roscoe Paine" was written by Joseph C. Lincoln who was a prolific writer in his day. The book is in"Good" condition. The hardcover is solid showing its age through wear but is solid. It is showing some separation from the binding when you open the front cover at the very top and when you open the back cover. I have shown the separation in the back in the 4th photo. The binding itself is still good for its age as are the pages which I have photographed as well.
