The plates each have an identical border design of bears clasping paws and dancing in a circle. The center of each has a different captioned scene from a nursery rhyme or fairy tale. Little Bo Peep. Ca 1903 Designed by William Savage Cooper Royal Doulton Staffordshire England 1905 This is an outstanding childs plate in a colorful polychrome transfer printed pattern. The plate measures 7” in diameter made of porcelain with brown printing and multicolor details and gilt rim. From a series of 19 of Nursery Rhyme images designed by British artist and illustrator William Savage Cooper(1880-1926) in 1903. Withdrawn from production in 1939. There are 28 unique embroidered images of birds, nursery rhyme characters, flowers, flag, animals, children, some with captions. One shows a child drinking from a old siphon nurser. Another shows a donkey with a"temperance drink! This quilt is in quite good shape for being 100 years old! I fou nd it stored in a hope chest in Washington state. It was obviously used and loved. It has a few places where some seam stitches have come loose. One triangle tear. Light staining in one place- see photo. But nothing noticeable, as you can hopefully see from my(not very professional) photos! The back is plain white muslin with the red ties. Gorham 7" Sterling Silver Monogram Nursery Rhyme Plate. This plate has nine(9) separate raised panels surrounding the edge of The Cow jumping over the moon. The Cat& The Fiddler, and others. Each are crisp and clear with no signs of wear. In the center of this plate it has been monogram in script with three letters. This plate weights 179.4grams. This is a previously owned item and it does show moderate tarnish and wear. There is a noticable dent on the backside of the plate as shown in the picture.

When we started collecting Lux and Keebler Clocks we bought almost anything made out of SyrocoWood. When we found this plaque we had to have it with our nursery rhyme pendulettes. We’re now thinning out and with Easter and Spring around the corner. This would be the perfect time for the Beatrix Potter flopsy bunnies to find a new home. The oval plaque is approximately 5” wide by 3” high. Flopsy. Mopsy and Cottontail stand out in bold relief. It’s in Great Condition with no brakes. Chips or cracks– colors are still very vibrant.
