Hippodrome Theatre Cleveland OH Round Glass Chandelier 1907 MUST LOOK
Please check all the pictures. This is a very great pcs. of history from The Hippodrome Theatre in Cleveland Ohio which was built in 1907 and demolished in 1981 The reason i know its from the Hippodrome is because i removed it in 1981 from the Mezzanine. I never had it up. It is flush mount with the frame being brass. Round dome shape with glass crystals there are 46 strings of glass going around with 17 beads on each. The glass bottom pcs. in pictures# 6& 7 is removable and has a notch in the bottom to hold it in place. It is about 10 1/4" round at the base and 10" high. It does need a good cleaning. Any questions please ask, to my knowledge i do not think there are any others out there, back then they stopped letting people take any due to a accident.

The glass measures 5 1/4 inches when unfolded and 3 inches at its widest point when folded up. The glass has no scratches or damage. There is some wear from use as can be seen in the picture. AMAZING Art Glass Antique Lamp Shade Metal Base Irridescent Quezal? Loetz? LOOK!
Beautiful! Purchased this lamp along with other antiques from an estate of A Naval Rear Admiral originally from the Coronado California area. He had many wonderful items! I cannot find a signature on the lamp shade. Although I may be missing something. Also, there is no felt or bottom covering on the base. The socket is signed, but this is for the hardware manufacturer. Several antique dealers have looked at shade but no definitive answer. Except it is truly beautiful! Multi shades of color accented with a stunning irridescence. The underside of shade has the colors in their more solid form. And on the outside is this wonderful and captivating coloring. Amazing. The rim of shade has no chips, just slight roughness. Shade is excellent. The metal base does has some discolor here& there. The lamp works and cord is fine. The silver plated stand is decorated with a graduated bead design with center medallions on the sides which look like ship's wheels. The base is very ornate with flowers inside diamond shapes in relief. The stand is stamped"Hartford Silverplate Quadruple Plate" and is in very nice condition. There is an attached slot on the side of the stand for hanging pickle tongs. Although we are not including the tongs. They are inexpensively found in local antique malls and shops. This auction is for one old picture frame with bubble glass and dried flowers. When I say bubble glass. I mean the kind of glass that bulges out like a bubble. The glass is not flat. This is about 7 inches across. This piece has dried flowers inside. These dried flowers seem to be in good condition. It is a neat, clean, beautiful arrangement of crunchy real dead brown flowers. I think this is attractive and could be displayed with sepia toned old pictures. The frame seems to have been scratched around the outer edges. I think a person could easily fix this with some type of spirits or gold paint. It looks allright the way it is. The back is cardboard and is held in place with tiny little nails. Unfortuantely someone started to electrify the font. The inside is cut up, with the wick lifter, etc gutted. Shade ring is approx. 14" inside dia. Up for bid is another delightful recent find. This is a lovely green glass or green jade figurine of a dog which I believe to be a Lhasa Apso. This figurine measures just under 3" in height and about 3 1/3" at the widest point. It is unsigned as to maker so the exact vintage and origin are unknown. It is possibly from China and could be jade.it feels cold to the touch. It is quite heavy in weight for its size and could possibly be used as a decorative paperweight.
