First. I do not know anything about antique books except what I can see, which I am going to tell you. If I can't see it, I will tell you what I think! But you have to make any decisionl. Chatterbox Picture Book was printed in 1982; copyright in 1883. See photo of back of title page. The pages are yellowed and are all together but loose from the spine of the book. The illustrations on each page look like. My guess, prints of pen and ink drawings; some look they are signed. Not all are the same signature. There are forty-three short stories with forty-three illustrations. A few pages have pencil marks and/or stains. But all in all, this is a nice book for 120 years old. Will ship in a box with padding due to the age of the book.

There are 336 pages. The binding has some issues. Both covers are quite compromised(see pics. Pages are aged, but not damaged or missing. The handwriting is also dated. There must have been many students/readers that utilized this book as learning materials. Perhaps, this book was used in a classroom, thus the aged appearance. The name Stella Bohnemeier is in gilt over 1921 on the cover. It was a gift to a rare book collector and is inscribed on inside cover page. Otherwise very clean and well stored. Inside pages show little yellowing, good quality paper, spine and binding.
