There are 72 photos (book calls them ... moreillustrations) and 1 Sketch Map that folds out. 338 pages and size is 8" high x 5.5" wide x 1.25" deep. 13 chapters that are broken up by dates - beginning with 1533 -1556 and ending with1583 - 1584. Interesting are several pages that have never been separated thus many pages unreadable as bound without be sliced apart. Book has probably always sat on a shelf. I think the condition is very good but I am a patron of books and not a collector so do not know lots about proper description. Please ask questions and look at all photos. Spine is intact and tight. I see no bent corner or stains. I am downsizing my sister's books that she used for decorating - she purchased them by color.
