Effanbee Freddie Bobbsey is one of the twins from the Storybook collection. This particular doll is when he was playing a detective. You can find numerous outfits that portray all the characters that the Bobbsey Twins were. Freddie is 11" tall and fully jointed. He is in excellent condition. Altered Art Children's Box with a Bobbsey Twin's Chipboard Album
For your consideration. I am offering a beautiful chipboard album constructed with the front and back covers of a vintage(1922) Bobbsey Twins at School. This book was taken apart and then resconstructed with the original covers. The album is approximately 7 1/2" x 5" There are a total of 33 pages(including front and back) This gorgeous album also comes with a beautiful children's theme box in which to place your album. There are approximately 39 homemade tags and loads of ephemera. I have included 3 chipboard paper dolls. Two of them are fully articulated and can be used as ornaments. They are 4"x 3" and 7"x 2" approximately. The third doll is a heavy chipboard vintage looking Dolly Dingle doll. She is approximately 7"x 2" All three of them have been sealed and resealed for added endurance. The ... moreDolly Dingle doll is loaded with glitter and other decor. I have attached vintage seam binding to each so they can be hung as decorations if so desired. Each page is a delight to see. The overall theme is vintage children. There are loads of pockets and other little places where various treasures can be kept. The tags can be removed. And replaced with your own special memorabilia if you so desire. The tags could then be used for packages or cards. I have used tons of embellishments. Many of which I made myself. These include paper rosettes, crepe paper borders and ruffles. There is vintage seam binding, glitter and prima flowers. Every thing has been sealed and resealed to increase the durability of the album. The book can stand alone and there are old fashioned knobs on the front and back of the album with a ribbon attached. This can let you close the album if you wish. This is a very. Very chunky album. I am also including a beautiful handmade vintage children's theme box. This box is large enough to place the album in. The box dimensions are 8" tall x 7 3/4" wide x 7 3/4" deep. These vintage 1982 Bobbsey Twin dolls are marked on their backs: the Bobbsey Twins 1982 Effanbee and more. They are about 11" tall. Wearing red and black plaid clothes with white trim, shirt and panties( only on girl and elastic is stretched) The boy and grl have sleep eyes and nice smiles.
