Adventures of Tom Sawyer by Mark Twain. Published by The American Publishing Company in 1902. With a copyright date of 1875. This is a hardcover book that measures about 9 x 7 with 274 pages. The book is in GOOD+ condition. The cover has some wear, the binding is okay, and the pages are all present and in very good shape. The front endpaper has a tear at the hinge and the rear endpaper is torn about 1/2 way. The binding was extremely loose and we added archival-quality glue to strengthen it. The cover and spine of the book, although worn, are still attractive with gilt embossed lettering and stars as shown in the pictures. The front cover in particular has lost very little of its original gilt and brightness.
