Clean, and unmarked, and none are missing or torn. The binding is tight. This is a FINE condition 1934 GLOMERATA. The Auburn University annual yearbook. It is designed in very pure ART DECO style, and features Athletics, Campus Life, Fraternities and Sororities, Beauties, and neat ads in the back. Perhaps the coolest thing about this yearbook is the inclusion of several legendary War Eagle coaches, such as Wilbur Hutsell, the track and field coach whose name graces the Auburn University track, and Ralph"Shug" Jordan in his rookie year as an Auburn coach. Shug is the all-time winningest football coach in Auburn history, and Jordan-Hare Football Stadium is named for him. One of the ads in the back, that of Benson's Confectionary, has a great photo of an Art Deco soda fountian. 1929 Little I-Like-To-Help Children's Book, Art Deco Illustrations
Lovely Little I-Like-To-Help children's book from 1929 by Patten Beard. Illustrated by Ruth Caroline Eger, published by Rand McNally& Company, Chicago. Hardcover, with 64 pages, the illustrations are beautiful, and the colors are excellent. The Art Deco Movement began in 1925 in Paris, France, and these illustrations have the bright colors and uncomplicated simplicity that symbolized the movement. There are no missing or torn pages. The binding is tight, and there is some slight page yellowing from age. The original owner did write her name at the top of the title page(see photos) Viola. Otherwise, the book is in excellent condition. Measures 7 inches by 5 inches.

Bedtime Wonder Tales by Clifton Johnson. Illustrated by Harry L. Smith. 125 pages, 18 different folklore and fairy stories starting with Little Red Riding Hood, sources of the tales are: Grimm, Scotland, France, Russia, France, American Indian, Wales, Hungary, England. This book measures 7 1/2" high by 5 1/2" wide. It is in good condition with normal wear specially in the spine but very nice for it's age. A well loved book. Stunning illustrations.
