Offered for sale is this antique 1874 book titled REPORT OF THE COMMISSIONER OF AGRICULTURE FOR THE YEAR 1873 published by the GOVERNMENT PRINTING OFFICE in 1874 out of Washington. It measures about 9" by 6" and has 496 pages. The pages are all tight to the binding and very readable but there is some yellowing and foxing from age. It still has its original fold-out illustration that has a small tear in it. The overall condition of the book is fair to good and would be a great addition to any collection. The 19th century information in this book is plentiful covering a wide variety of states and topics including a chapter on agriculture in Japan!
