This is an 8 volume set titled"The Story of The Great War" Published by P.F. Collier and Son in 1919. It states that it is a complete historical record to date(1919) and it has pictures. Maps and drawings. Actually I was quite impressed with some of the pictures and wondered how they were obtained. Anyway, The outsides of these gems are well worn and freyed and missing covers in some cases. Yet all the pages seem to be there and the spines are in tact and firm. The pages that I looked at were all clean and clear. I didnt look at every page nor can I guarantee all of the pages are present but I honestly believe they are. Each book is 9 inches tall-6 1/2 inches wide and 1 3/4 inches thick.
