Old map America East Coast Tierra Nueva. Ruscelli. Ptolemy. Venice, eredi di Mel chior Sessa, 1598. Image size: Cm. 26 x 19; Paper cm. 34.5 x 23. Copper ... moreengraving in b/w. Folding the sheet has been reinforced on the verso, but good copy. A landmark map-one of the earliest obtainable separately printed maps of the eastern coast of North America and one of the earliest attempts to map the east coast of America based on Verrazzanos 1524 voyage( It shows the discoveries of Cartier and Verrazzano) A good example of the rare third edition Ruscelli's map of the East Coast of North America. Extending from Labrador to Florida(t here are actually many Ruscelli's editions. But the maps are changed only three times) The map is based on Ptolemy's Geography curated by Giacomo Gastaldi in 1548. It was published for the first time in 1561 and then revised in 1574. In 1598 it was redesigned with the addition of a sailing ship and a sea monster. Shipping costs to USA. British 60th Regt. 1st Btn. Royal Americans large button American Revolution
This is a very early British button to the 60th Regiment of Foot(Royal Americans) 1st Battalion. It was raised as the 62nd in 1755 and renamed to the 60th in 1757. This unit participated at Ticonderoga and played a major role in the advance to Fort Duquesne. This unit served in North America during the early parts of the American Revolution. An online source indicates that a button of this same design and Battalion was located in the Niagara Region. The back mark of"S. Firmin Strand" sets this button as being lilkely 1771-1780. A very scarce button. Measures 24mm. This week. We continue our offering of a very important and likely one of the the most comprehensive collections of Canadian militaria. The collection. Assembled from 1960-1990, encompasses the Canadian military forces between the years of 1880 and 1952. Rare Find~1st Edition of Fair Americans Book~By Harrison Fisher
Up for sale is my Fair Americans Book by Harrison Fisher. This book is the 1st addition. I bought the book at an Estate Sale over 28 years ago. I would say the book is in fair to good condition. The front cover is a little warn as you can see in my pictures but it's not bad. The pages inside to me look real nice and the drawings are amazing! Their is also a signature to someone on the inside dated 1913 Christmas. This book is a great collectors item! For a book being over 100 years old I think it looks real good! But I'm by no means an expert. You decide from my pictures. The only reason I'm selling is because I need to down size a little. I will send priority mail free shipping. I do not ship international. Classics Illustrated 169/166 FVF (7.0) "Negro Americans!" 1st Edition!
No Reserve! This comic is valued at $60.00 or so by the 2012 Overstreet Comic Price Guide in this condition. This auction is for a copy of the 1st edition of the very last issue of Classics Illustrated. 169 with hrn 166, Published in May, 1969 and featuring"Negro Americans: The Early Years" This issue had a stiff cover so it is hard to find in VFNM. There are several indentations on the back cver and there is slight scuffing at the spine towards the bottom. There are a few nicks and stress lines at the spine and edges. But it is a super nice looking 1st edition of this very l ast CI book! I'm not an expert grader. But I think you'll be very happy with this one. The picture tells the story. There isn't much to say about this one except that you'll love it! US buyers pay $4.00 shipping. I combine shipping. So figure ... moregive or take about 75 cents for each additional book but I can ship up to 60 comics in a medium flat rate box for $12.00. so once you reach a dozen books, there's no additional shipping charge.

Negro Americans, What Now? James Weldon Johnson 1934 1st Ed w/ dust jacket Black
Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 We are offering without a reserve this first edition of James Weldon Johnson’s Negro Americans. What Now? It comes with its red ink on yellow dust jacket. It was published by The Viking Press. The back cover offers an excellent summary of the book. Noting that Johnson asks if Communism might be the answer or perhaps migration to an unsettled lend. Violence is considered and Johnson questions whether Negroes should“accept the compromise of segregation. He predicts the struggle will be long and bitter and urges Negroes to draw on potential resources such as the church. The press, fraternal societies and education. This volume measures approx. 7 ¾ by 5 3/8 in. It is bound in red fabric. The cover of the volume has a decidedly modern look to it. The book has 103 numbered ... morepages. Condition of the volume itself is quite good. There is considerable oxidation to the plain front and back end papers. The dust jacket is in two pieces. With a somewhat jagged and complete vertical tear at the far left of the front dust jacket cover and chipping and other losses here and there. The stock used for the dust jacket has a somewhat dry and brittle feel to it. Perhaps this is why we were unable to find online any other copies of this book with a dust jacket. We are not book specialists and will be happy to answer any questions that you may have. If you would like to add this copy of Negro Americans. What Now? by James Weldon Johnson to your library. The general market for luxury goods has become stagnant. Given the new economic reality of the early 21st Century—not to mention the all-important new demographics of the new century—it’s bad business to continue to rely on luxury’s traditional customer base to support sales. Or on tired marketing strategies and tactics. In Black is the New Green authors Burnett and Hoffman show readers how to follow in the footsteps laid down by brands such as Gucci. HSBC, Sony Electronics, and Aston Martin, amongst others, to become successful in a segment corporations can’t afford to overlook if growth is the objective. The total number of affluent ethnic households in the United States in now estimated at over 1.3 million. The buying power of affluent African Americans(referred to as AAA’s in this book) is currently $87.3 billion. It would be foolish in the extreme not to tap into this rich buying segment, yet that is exactly what the marketing arms of companies do all too frequently.
