The half leather hardcovers, gilded lettering, and marble page edges give this set of books a magnificent look! The set is missing volume 10 only. They were signed by a previous owner and have some light scuffs or flaking on some of the spines as the pictures show. Aside from that, the pages have very light yellowing and foxing and still remain quite clean and bright. The pages are tight to the spines and very pliable.
