This wonderful piece of miniature furniture features wonderful details and very old-looking wood with some signs of age and wear. The entire item is made with very nice detail, very similar to a full sized piece of furniture. This chest of drawers stands just over 9 1/2 inches tall by about 6 1/2 inches deep. The widest measurement is over 12 1/2 inches. I’m guessing this item dates from about the 1880’s. It may have been made in the United States or somewhere else. I’m really not sure! Antique 19th Century Mahogany Chest of Drawers - Dresser - Square Nails
It is an antique chest. The chest has mahogany veneer. The drawer sides and bottom are made of oak. The drawers have square nails and the underside of the drawers are hand chamfered. The interior of the pulls have carved mother of pearl. It is 48 1/2" tall x 21" deep x 49" wide. The chest is in fair used condition. The drawers open and close fairly smooth. The veneer has some warping. Chips and old repairs. The top is loose and has some dings, staining and remnants of tape. Overall, it presents well. A true antique. Offered for sale is this rare 1800's Dresser/ Chest top mirror stand. It just does not get any better than this. This piece has 3 drawers. A mirror that swivels on the 2 upright arms and the entire piece is made of dovetailed oak which has a rich patina. I am not sure you can see it in the pictures but the middle drawer and mirror have a thin light maple inlay around the perimeter. This piece is real craftmanship at it's finest. It has an awesome design with the middle drawer offset from the 2 side ones and the mirror support arms divided and elegantly curved. The whole thing sets on small bun feet. It measures about 27 1/2" tall by 19" wide by 10" deep. I wish I was a better photographer because I do not think these photos do it justice. Beautiful Bombe Commode Chest with Green Italian Marble Top Louis XV French Antique Bombe Style Chest This was abosolutely the most beautful piece of furniture I have ever had. My husband inherited it from a client approximately 20 years ago. He has since past and I do not know the complete history. It was in exellent condition when I met him and remained that was until we moved to a new home about six years ago. It was sitting over an A/C vent I do not know for sure but I believe that may have dried it out and caused the veneer to start chipping. If the right person knew how to fix or restore the veneer it would be perfect piece. The Green Italian Marble top is in pristiene condition. as are the drawers, legs and ornate brass fixtures. The chest has one full width drawer at the top. Two half-width drawers on the left are paired with a large compartment on the right, possibly originally intended for a chamber pot. The drawer pulls appear to be replacements, although the pull for the compartment, plus lock and escutcheon appear to be original. The Chest of Drawers measures 30 inches high. 40-3/4 inches wide, and 20 inches deep. There is a piece of thick glass that has been added, covering the top of the Chest. Selling the antique 4-Drawer Walnut Empire/ Federal Dresser with Tiger Maple Inlay& Walnut veneer front c. mid 1800s. All drawers are dove tailed and have glass knobs(except the blanket drawer which has grooves on the bottom where you pull it open) The dresser measures approx 45" high x 42" wide x 22" deep. A few small pieces of veneer are missing and one small area of veneer is buckled. The front right foot has a cosmetic crack. Overall. A very nice looking antique piece of furniture.

Circa 1860. Recently, a third generation furniture maker in England hand restored the chest back to its original luster. The result is a stunning dresser in superb condition. This is a wonderful example of Georgian artistry and craftsmanship from the bow front shape to the splayed bracket feet. The drawers are a two over three graduated drawer ... moredesign. This means the drawers get slightly deeper as they go down. The all-brass plate back handles wonderfully accent these beautiful drawers. Both the top and drawer fronts are rich flame mahogany. The deep luster of the mahogany is extremely eye catching. This chest is in good condition having just been restored in England. There are locks. One slightly recessed, are present but no key. Above the locks on the first and third long drawers are repairs. There are a few cosmetic imperfections which can be viewed in the pictures. On the top of the dresser the back-right corner has been repaired. The front left foot has two minor split and moderate wear on all four feet. The top has light surface scratches and two minor age separations. There are a few wear marks throughout that the restorer has cleaned up and waxed over particularly on the sides. They now provide handsome character to the chest without being distracting. The result is a phenomenal antique dresser that will last your family for many years to come!
