Beautiful antique Victorian or Eastlake dresser vanity. Marble tops are ivory in color and in good shape. Original ebony drawer pulls. All 4 drawers pull nicely with unique dovetail work. There is also a secret bonus drawer at the bottom that goes unnoticed. The mirror has some silvering in it. Burl wood inlays throughout. Minor wear to be found in places. But nothing terrible. The wood looks to be chestnut, but I am not positive. Great well made piece that will last many more years to come. My apologies for the somewhat awkward photos. This piece is heavy to move on my own. And the lighting was not the best for taking pictures. I am assisting a friend in selling this piece. It has been in their family for a long time. And could be an interesting bar, server or vessel sink vanity. Hand carved of solid oak in Germany. The original finish is in exceptionally fine condition. Waxed and buffed. Only an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth is needed to maintain its luster. Embossed brass hardware is original, the key still works the lower door lock. Drawers have hand cut dovetail joints on this exquisite European furniture. There are minor chips on the edges of the marble top and back splash, which has been polished and sealed to resist stains. From antiques estate! seems to be mahogany, a nice dark wood, with nice patina brass drawer knobs and swivel hardware for the mirror. so much detail work in the carving of the reeded cheval brace topped with the beautiful pineapple finials. Click on photos for close up view! There is a slight overall haze in the mirror's silvering, commensurates with the true turn of century glass mirrors. This is about 18 inches tall x 19 inches wide x 12 inches deep. A couple very minor knicks and a burnt burl spot on the flat surface-see photos. Beautiful wood. this appears to have been gently used. Coming from estate of a serious antiques collector is this beautiful dresser with integral. Locking vanity set on top, complete with key that works. The wood type is cherry, we think, and solid(hidden parts may be other type, not sure but see photos) Overall it measures 42" wide x 43" high x 20-1/2" deep(vanity part is 4-1/2" high x 36" wide x 10-1/2" deep) The only issues are it shows years of faithful use and some wear. Top of vanity's right end a bit loose. But the finish still shines. Long shapely legs, extremely ornate pulls, and round"pin and cove" dovetails. The mirror features a similarly curvaceous silhouette, and original beveled glass.
