Early footed and carrying handle square form. Nickel or silver plate over brass, believe a candle holder, maybe teapot warmer or some sort of oil lamp. Has four lithophane panels and a removable top plate. The panels have a river scene and castles, maybe the Rhine River in Germany. One panel is a touch shinier than the other 3 panels and is stamped 1204 on the back corner, two of the others are marked 689, one marked and I can't read. Looks significantly better when lit than my photos show. Lamp is ca. 1890s- 1910s. Likely manufactured in Germany. Smaller#1 size lamp. Up for auction is a fold out panorama map(measures almost six feet long when extended) that takes you on a virtual voyage down the Rhine River and was given to the men of the American Army Occupation. Dated 1919 and listed as given by the YMCA. The map folds correctly, has no tears or rips and is in a light cardboard jacket seen as cover on picture 1. These 6 Green to Clear Goblets are absolutely stunning! I wish you could see the actual glass because the detail is just wonderful! Each glass measures 6 1/2 inches tall and the mouth of the glass is 3 inches. There is detail cuts on the bottom of each glass as well as the goblet itself. I am not sure if they are considered American Brilliant because it was not noted in the catalog. All of the cut glass that I am selling belonged to my mother.
