Original page measures 11" X 13-1/2" Most of the maps in this book do not show copyright dates. An attractive political map published in the International Atlas and Geography. A nice feature of this atlas is that the maps were individually bound along their long edge. Resulting in large maps without a centrefold. This map measures approx 40cm x 30cm excluding margins. Condition is very good. A strong impression that remains clean and bright with attractive printed colour; some specks and marks; some very faint spotting and soft creasing; a tiny dink in the paper in Siberia. The margins are toned with some handling soiling; top edge a little discoloured and creased where originally bound. Verso completely blank. The map will be posted rolled in a wide-diameter tube. Map page from the Twentieth Century Atlas and Illustrated World Published in 1899 to 1904- Large double page is m ap of Europe Page measures 16" X 22" Copyright date is 1899 + + + Lots of details on map. See close ups. There is some darkening from age and handling damage around the edges of the pages. But overall in good condition for a document that is 107 years old! There is margin damage along the bottom of the page(see photo) And about a 2 inch split where the page folds. All of my maps are originals. I do not destroy good books. But rescue pages from damaged and ruined atlases. I mail maps rolled up in shipping tubes for protection. Which I have found to be the best way to get the item delivered safely. Russia in Europe 1894 colored map from atlas 12 x 14
Up for auction is a colored map from an 1894 atlas. This is Russia in Europe. The margin has a closed tear almost to the edge of the black line and several small tears along the edge. The lower right corner also is missing at the margin. The back has historical facts about Russia. This map will be mailed in a tube. Not folded. It is approx. 11 3/4" x 14" tall. We did not tear apart an atlas to get our maps. We purchased a broken apart atlas about 20 years ago and all the pages were loose.

It is from a 1924 Dutch school atlas.it was not bound like a modern atlas.instead.Luckily for you, each map was printed as a map with a blank back.they were then inserted in the atlas using a type of tape.However,this one itself is wider than the other maps,and is formed by joining two double map pages.hard to explain.simply put.this one has one section of black outline mapping on part of the back, and has a blank page to form a sort of flyleaf in the old atlas.
