A good example of one of Levasseur’s very decorative maps of the French administrative départements. L’Oise is a department in northern France. Its capital being the cathedral city of Beauvais. In 1989 Parc Astérix opened at Plailly. The map itself has outline colouring. The pictorial surround is uncoloured and focuses on statistics. Produce and people. It measures approx 41cm x 27cm excluding margins. The map has a very clear and bright impression. There is uneven toning with white spotting; not hugely impactful but noticeable. ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS PEICE OF DISNEY HISTORY! This Egg was hand painted by the renowned Jutta Levasseur. Featuring a scene from Bambi. Jutta recently passed away and her eggs are being highly sought after. Egg is in great condition. The only thing worth noting is that the"y" is missing from"Disney" It is almost unnoticeable since its down at the bottom of the egg. I do not think it rubbed off(it's not really possible since the paint is sealed so well) I think she actually"forgot" the"y" which makes this an even more rare collectible. Comes with the glass dome pictured. I have 2 more eggs I will be posting soon. They feature German Christmas bears that are popular in Epcot during the holidays. So check back. She was such a fixture that the park gave her the great honor of setting aside a studio nook overlooking the World Showcase Lagoon. Her eggs. Most of her eggs are now gone except for a few large ones costing well over $1,000, but her name plate remains on a shelf above her desk in tribute.

Jutta was most famous for painting Disney Eggs therefore her eggs featuring non-disney characters are highley sought after. Each egg features a christmas scene using german Steiff Bears. Jutta painted eggs for 30 years in the German part of Epcot. Jutta recently passed away and her eggs are being highly sought after. Eggs are in great condition. The only thing worth noting is that on egg has a tiny hairline crack in the paint(not the egg) It is not noticeable unless really inspecting the egg and it does not compromise the structure at all.
