It has dainty brass handle hardware which I am not sure are original. The keyhole escutcheon are the big round medallions. The candle shelves have heavy incise carved burl front shelf supports, burl walnut trim going up the mirror and the big crest on top with a doorbell looking medallion on the top. The mirror is bevel glass, which is normally straight glass. The drawers are all hand cut dove tail. The overall size is 48 inches wide, 21 inches deep and 90 inches high overall.

It looks like someone cleaned it up and glued it up previously and it is all tight and sturdy. It looks like they cleaned up the dark walnut stain finish as well. It has a shapely turtle top frame, floral carvings on the corner legs and skirts, cabriole legs, platform base, and a cup center finial that holds the legs together. Beautiful antique Victorian or Eastlake dresser vanity. Marble tops are ivory in color and in good shape. Original ebony drawer pulls. All 4 drawers pull nicely with unique dovetail work. There is also a secret bonus drawer at the bottom that goes unnoticed. The mirror has some silvering in it. Burl wood inlays throughout. Minor wear to be found in places. But nothing terrible. The wood looks to be chestnut, but I am not positive. Great well made piece that will last many more years to come. My apologies for the somewhat awkward photos. This piece is heavy to move on my own. And the lighting was not the best for taking pictures. I am assisting a friend in selling this piece. It has been in their family for a long time. Tennessee Red" marble has a soft honed finish. Engraved brasses are original on drawers with hand cut dovetail joints. The swivel mirror has a few flaws and a hint of golden antique"smoke" to show its age. Size is 59" wide. 20" deep, 80" tall and the marble top is 34" high. Gently used Victorian-period furniture. Having burled walnut panel dove-tailed drawers with glass drawer pulls, and three original marble slab tops. Circa 1885-1890's. Two small square drawers at the top. And two large, long drawers below. The piece is on the original four casters(wheels) No mirror- not sure if it ever had one. You can use this as a dresser. Vanity table, or convert it to a bathroom sink/vanity/counter. If you were to do a sink, you'd need to take the drawer bottoms off and somehow keep the drawer fronts on. Also great for storing old linens, clothes, and textiles. CONDITION: Excellent condition ... morewith a few minor scrapes. Scuffs, or scratches on either/both the wood and/or marble- nothing major. As to be expected, it could use a light cleaning and a good polishing before use, if not just to show it some love. Drawers slide as they should. If one needed to go in the night, an empty container was stored within the bottom cabinet. Up top was a basin with a pitcher of water. In the drawer were stored washcloths or hand towels. To present, for your consideration, this gorgeous Fancy Tall Burl Walnut Victorian Renaissance Revival Marble Top Drop Front Dresser(Circa: 1870) This beautiful dresser weighs approximately 140 pounds and measures 90 ½” in total height from the floor to the center top of the crown, 20” in height from the floor to the middle marble top section of the dresser, 31 ½” in height from the floor to the side marble tops, 20” in depth, and 49 ¾” in total width. The center top of the mirror is graced with a beautiful scrolled foliate crown with carved grape cluster center. This beautiful crown is removable for shipping purposes and sits on the gorgeous mirrored top which is adorned with elegant moulding. Many raised burled panels, rosette roundels, fancy leaf carved shoulders, four candle-stands(unusual as most Victorian ... moredressers only have two) and elegant pierced carved grape and leaf carved ornamentations on the sides. Tennessee Red" marble tops have been polished and sealed to resist stains. The finish is excellent on solid walnut. With delicate incised hand carving. Brasses are original on this American made antique. There is a scratch on the original swivel beveled mirror. Drawers have round"pin and cove" dovetail joints. Characteristic of the period. This lovely dresser measures a total height to the top of the pediment on the mirror of 76 1/2 inches. The dresser width measures 46 inches, dresser depth measures 18 inches, and the height from the floor to the top of the marble measures 39 inches,height from the floor to the lower base top is 20 inches, and this piece weighs approximately 135 lbs. This wonderful Eastlake piece offers a fantastic beveled cheval mirror that pivots front to back. And is encased in a gorgeous carved maple frame with a lovely incised carved pediment at the top. The mirror rests in ... morebetween two upright carved supports with the original fancy brass inserts that secures the mirror into the supports. The mirror portion and the marble does lift off to allow easier transport and moving. We believe the beveled mirror to be original and it measures 47 inches high by 23 inches wide and only has some very light silver dusting that's age appropriate. The finish appears original and does have some age& wear on the top of the base, there is unusual black marble on the right side above the stack of smaller drawers measures 15 1/4 inches wide by 13 inches deep. The base offers three smaller storage drawers on the right over two larger ones each having period brass Eastlake pulls. Period dove-tailed ends and all the locks are intact on the drawers but we do not have they key. The dresser base does have its original casters to aid in easier movement within your home. Beautiful Victorian Marble Top Drop Well Dresser. This is a amazing piece of Victorian furniture in wonderful condition. This dresser has a fabulous carved crest. Beautiful raised panels of burl walnut and the original beveled edge marble that does show some discoloration as common in old marble. The mirror looks to be original and shows a little age with some flakes and streaks. The mirror has neat candle holders that have seen the test of time once or twice. They are well attached but have had to be re-glued. T he base has four small drawers over two long drawers. Each drawer has raised edge and hand carved handles. This piece also has casters intact for easier moving within your home. This 19th century Victorian dresser is in wonderful antique condition and exudes all the charm and splendor from another era in time. Beautiful Antique Victorian Drop Center Dresser measures 89 inches tall(7 feet 5 inches) 46 inches wide and 18.5 inches deep. Floor to center marble top is 24" Floor to side marble top is 30" Shows normal wear for a piece that is over 100 years old. Missing left side thin wood trim about 2/3 way up(see picture) Center marble piece appears to be a replacement. Marble pieces and mirror remove for shipping. Small shelves(for candles? remove but can be glued upon final arrival. Pin cushions have pins in them! Pickup in Gardendale Alabama(near Birmingham) I will help load for shipment.
