In their Compact Furniture line(also called Compactum) some time between the 1920's to 1950's(as far as the information I have been able to gather) Wardrobe is in good shape and is very usable. There are a few scratches and chips on the doors and trim(pictured above) Hanging rods are in great shape and pull out for easy access. Interior is also in good shape and still has slight cedar smell. Take notice of the wood embellishments on the doors and carvings and bun feet. I believe the wood is walnut and this was taken in bright sunlight so it is darker in color when inside. That is what you see here in this antique wardrobe. Made in England around the year 1910, it is a gorgeous piece that provides storage for a variety of needs. This wardrobe features two doors with oval ... morepanels and three drawers. Inside the right door is a variety of hooks and a fixed wooden shelf while the left door houses a taller open space with a rod. The three drawers slide easily and are made with dovetailed drawer joints. The left door and all three drawers lock with the one included key. The key does not work for the right door. This armoire comes apart in three pieces(crown. Large center section, and base) for easier shipping and moving. We are giving this piece a good condition rating. It is sturdy and solid and all of the doors and drawers function well. There are some minor cosmetic issues to point out. The left door’s oval panel appears to have been replaced. The top right corner of the crown has some small damage. The left side of the wardrobe has two age separations(the right side has one at the base) and an old scratch. Also on the left side is some very slight damage to the inlay on the crown towards the back. Italian Art Deco 1925 Triple Armoire or Wardrobe. Beveled Mirror. A spectacular Art Deco 1925 period triple armoire was hand crafted in northern Italy. Walnut with matched burl. The finish is in excellent condition on this dramatic European furniture. Bakelite and nickel pulls are original. Classical detailing is carved by hand. The shaped and beveled mirror is original with a little antique"smoke" to show its age. A key operates the two outer locks, there is no key for the center mirrored door. Interiors have one closet pole and some shelves. This historic furniture could be fitted with additional hanging poles or shelves as desired. This beautiful. Hand-carved vintage wardrobe dates back to early 1900s. It is in great condition, and has all the original closet hooks and handles. The mirror on the inside of the door is not chipped or cracked. The door has a functioning lock that requires a skeleton key, which also comes with this unique piece of fine furniture. There are a few visible chips on the wood on corners and sides from being moved. It is a gorgeous addition to any collection. And has recently been appraised at $3000.00.

Nice Vintage Cedar Closet Looks great with aged cedar inside and outside and beautiful old patina and color. Wood is 1/2 inch thick. And there is a pole at the top for hanging clothes. Has original brass key and 4 casters were put on the bottom for easy moving. Measures 64" tall. Trim at the top and bottom is 32" wide Main piece is 29.5" wide Depth is 21.5" deep Condition is very good. Sturdy, with usual cedar knots, splits and dings, but nothing serious. There is some writing on the back, and a line that looks like a crack but isn't. It's where some stain came off. Free Pick up only or you can arrange for shipping. Cash will be accepted on pick up. Antique Oak Clergy, Armoire, Wardrobe, Hall Closet REDUCED
For your bidding consideration is this unique Oak cabinet which can be used in many different ways. It was designed as a cloak cabinet for an abbey in which the priest stored their vestments and candle lighting tools. The cabinet exterior has been stripped and has only an oil finish; the interior has its original dark finish(see photos) By looking at the photos you can see the brass rod with brass hangers. On the door are the holders for the candle tool rack; there are brackets for a mirror. Not present. As can be seen, the door is quite decorative, with one repaired small panel, which you may not readily see. There are no cracks noted and the hardware is all present. Antique Edwardian Wardrobe / Media Cabinet / Armoire - Vintage Furniture
An ornately carved Edwardian oak knockdown cupboard measures 6' tall. 4' wide and 21" deep- perfect for a 42" TV. The shelf in the upper corner will hold today's cable box or game console. The doors latch to close, and have a key to lock, or will stay open easily. The hardware is ornate and functional. The carving and hardware have middle eastern inspiration. We would estimate pre-1920s(early Downton Abbey days) though we don't know the lineage. This sturdy piece is amazingly light and as a knockdown has latches to take it apart in 4 pieces for easy transport. The black shelf was added to accommodate a good watching height from the sofa. It is not attached. We will deliver in central Ohio.
