This is a nice raised beveled paneled oak wardrobe. This wardrobe was used in a judge's chambers and this cabinet measures 74" high and is 32 1/2" wide and 20" deep. This wardrobe is 14" wide on either side of the two compartments. This is a nice wardrobe that has been refinished and is in very good condition. Circa 1900's. This wardrobe has it's key. This oversized piece is extremely high quality, and remains in great condition. This piece features a full-length bevel glass mirror in the center door. Three hand-cut dovetail drawers on the bottom of the piece, and triple door access. This piece also has a beautiful cross-grain mahogany veneer with burl panel highlights. The bronze finished brass ormolu embellishment is completely intact. And the crest is crown molded with a brass cut out center. The two outside serpentine doors retain their original brass Victorian style hardware and mirror the two outside doors. Which are also in the serpentine fashion. The extra large wardrobe measures 74” wide. 106” tall, and 24” deep on the outside. The left& center doors open to expose a compartment that is 18” at deepest. 52” wide, 57” from the floor of the compartment to the shelf; from the shelf to the top is about 16 inches. Antique vintage armoire wardrobe waterfall--closet cedar lined--5 drawers
A pre-owned armoire wardrobe with original casters- in the waterfall design from the art deco period. A metallic gold seal inside the top drawer reads Hooker Bassett Seal of Quality. Stenciled on the back is XO 30 ROBE. It is 36" wide x 60" tall x 20" deep. With inside closet measurements of 20" deep x 16-1/2" wide x 56" high. The drawers are dovetailed and four drawers are 15-1/4" x 14-3/4" x 8" deep. The fifth(top) drawer measures the same accept it is 6" deep. The mirrored top adds 6" to that side height measurement. Overall, the original casters add 2" to the height. They also make it easy to move. The knobs and pulls are of a white metal with marbleized pink thermoplastic decoration-celluloid or Catalin. Etc. It is a quality wardrobe in very good solid condition. There are very ... moresmall pieces of veneer missing mostly on the bottom. There is a tiny piece missing on the top edge of the third drawer down and a crease in the front of the second drawer from the top. The mirror has some small issues. A gorgeous mid-century Birds Eye Maple Wardrobe with Mahogany on the inside. We are pleased to present this beautiful Wardrobe for your consideration. The exterior is primarily Birds Eye Maple with areas of decorative veneer. Plus there is a narrow mirror running down much of the center. The interior is lined with Mahogany, and features two areas of different heights for hanging garments, plus one upper shelf for accessories. The piece has some Art Deco features, but dates to the 1940's or 1950's. The Wardrobe measures 74 inches high. 48-1/2 inches wide, and 22 inches deep(which includes the curved surface on the front doors) The piece is in fine shape and ready to be used. There are occasional signs of wear as would be expected on a used piece of furniture. But nothing major.
