Antique vintage armoire wardrobe waterfall--closet cedar lined--5 drawers
A pre-owned armoire wardrobe with original casters- in the waterfall design from the art deco period. A metallic gold seal inside the top drawer reads Hooker Bassett Seal of Quality. Stenciled on the back is XO 30 ROBE. It is 36" wide x 60" tall x 20" deep. With inside closet measurements of 20" deep x 16-1/2" wide x 56" high. The drawers are dovetailed and four drawers are 15-1/4" x 14-3/4" x 8" deep. The fifth(top) drawer measures the same accept it is 6" deep. The mirrored top adds 6" to that side height measurement. Overall, the original casters add 2" to the height. They also make it easy to move. The knobs and pulls are of a white metal with marbleized pink thermoplastic decoration-celluloid or Catalin. Etc. It is a quality wardrobe in very good solid condition. There are very ... moresmall pieces of veneer missing mostly on the bottom. There is a tiny piece missing on the top edge of the third drawer down and a crease in the front of the second drawer from the top. The mirror has some small issues. This piece was purchased by my mother as a place to keep her many crochet projects and to store her completed afghans. It served her well over the years. All her things are being sold off. It has a few chips, scratches, wear, etc. here and there, but is still completely usable. The finish and hardware appear to be original. It is a nice size, not too much bigger than the tall dresser we have, so should be a great addition to even a small room. There is a tag on the back that is very hard to read. Wardrobe, armoire all in one and is early 1900's bedroom furniture, as is evidenced by the mushroom drawer pulls, the sideways clothes hanging closet and brass Yale drawer lock. It is solid wood and uses half-blind dove tail joints. Measurements: Overall: 37 inches wide. 20 inches deep and 56 ¾ inches high. Knobs: 1 1/8 inches deep/ Drawers: 18 inches wide. 9 ¾ inches high-all except top drawer which is 6 ¾ inches high. Door: 15 ¾ inches wide and the inside is 19 inches deep and 15 ½ inches wide. Vintage Cedar wardrobe closet armoire, Lakeside Craft Shops, Sheboygan, Wis.
THIS IS FOR LOCAL PICKUP ONLY A pre-owned cedar wardrobe tagged inside with a metallic label from Lakeside Craft Shops. Sheboygan, Wisconsin. It measures 35" wide x 75" tall x 25" deep. It is easily be taken apart for moving and I have done that more than a few times. I used it as a closet. A computer stand and for storing out-of-season bedding. It has been painted the color it is now which is Colonial Pear. When I used it as a computer stand, holes were drilled into the back to accommodate wiring. It would make a nice TV stand. The condition is mostly very good except that when breaking it down this last time, the floor of the closet spit along the grain lines in two places. It still fits together tightly because of the way it split. The door needs a catch. It has served me well over the years since I purchased it at Goodwill ... moremany years ago. Vintage (1900-1950) Chifferobe Armoire Wardrobe
I've own this wardrobe for 30 years. It was given to me by a neighbor. I've used it for all kinds of storage: linens. Seasonal clothes, accessories, etc. It measures approx. 54" H x 39" W x 18.5" deep. Four drawers, a shelf, and a hanging rod that slides in and out. I tried to capture the exterior condition. I've never refinished it. It has some small issues on front and side bottom(see pics 5& 6) And the varnish"beads" in a few places. The top probably needs to be refinished, it has some marks. Structurally it's sound. My 13 yo told me when she was small, she played Narnia with it. The inside looks good. And to me it has a nice"peppery" smell. The drawers are dove-tailed. Love this Antique White Gentleman's Wardrobe.it measures 5' 10" tall 3' 1" wide. It measures 2' feet on the inside. It is in excellent used condition. I was excited to find this piece and fell in love with the scroll work on the top edge and on the door. On the inside it is beautiful walnut with a mirror mounted on the door( no cracks) with brass clasp to hold it into place. The door pull is in a tear drop and that just makes the whole piece work. English DECO WARDROBE/ARMOIRE. Circa 1920s-1940s, in EXCELLENT condition. This armoire features a stunning, starburst walnut marquetry with a light varnish that accents the marvelous detailing of the woodwork. It comes with its original full-length beveled mirror and real jade and brass pulls. The armoire has a deep drawer at the bottom that spans the entire width of the armoire. Inside on each side are its original clothing bars and hooks which allow for both clothes hangers or simply hanging clothes/items(e.g. Purses, ties, etc. In addition, the armoire has a wooden bar with double hooks in the rear that provide additional hanging options. Classic Vintage Antique "Chifferobe" Wardrobe Armoire Early 20th Century
This is an early 1900's antique"chifferobe" or"chifforobe" or"chiffarobe" I.e. wardrobe with 5 drawers and a small mirrored door on one side, and a full size wardrobe door on the other side. Behind the full size door is a place for hanging garments with an iron hanging rod. A couple of the drawers need some work but everything else functions normally. Beautiful wood grain with wear and tear that would be expected for age of furniture. Has been in continual use for 75 to 95 years! The inside of the chifferobe is somewhat more rustic than the exterior. One drawer bottom is quite interesting(see photo# 6)I don't know if this wooden crating material was a replacement or if it originally came that way. Either way. It's been like that for as long as I can remember, and I'm 57 years old. Truly. This ... moreitem would make a great display piece for an antique clothing boutique or for great storage for at home! And my widowed grandmother continued to use it throughout her adult life up until her death in the early 1990s. So this is truly an original vintage item with quite a bit of age on it. Antique CHIFFEROBE. ARMOIRE, CLOSET.c1907.5 drawers with original glass pulls.very clean except the last drawer needs some additional cleaning. Top drawer has WORKING lock. Smaller'hatbox' compartment has original beveled mirror in the door. Larger door on wardrobe side locks and also has the original beveled mirror. I had to reset the mirror as it had wiggled down and once inside found the label from the glass company in Tennessee dated August 1907(didn't think of it at the time. But I should have taken a photo of the tag) Inside this long side, is the original metal rod for your hanging clothes. It is original, sturdy, and strong. This chifferobe stands 64 inches tall outside. It measures 43 inches across the front and is is 21 inches deep, including the tips of the two lovely victorian rounded feet and tips of the glass pulls. ... morePlease excuse the triangular point of a wall decoration behind this piece) It has ample storage space with the smaller compartment and all the drawers. 1920- 1950's Wardrobe by Berick Furniture UK Size- 36" x 19" x 59" Wardrobe was made in England by Berick Furniture. In their Compact Furniture line(also called Compactum) some time between the 1920's to 1950's(as far as the information I have been able to gather) Wardrobe is in good shape and is very usable. There are a few scratches and chips on the doors and trim(pictured above) Hanging rods are in great shape and pull out for easy access. Interior is also in good shape and still has slight cedar smell. Original key is included and locking mechanism works well(both key lock and latches) Posts are missing on door stops but should be able to be replaced. Take notice of the wood embellishments on the doors and carvings and bun feet. I believe the wood is walnut and this was taken in bright sunlight so it is darker in color when inside. It's in sturdy condition and some light scratches from age and finish wear as seen in photos. Great to use as the obvious or turn it into a TV cabinet. Item is for pick up only in Easton. Pa. Nothing structural wrong with it at all. Very sturdy. Legs and wheels are fine. Appears to have all of it's original parts including the little jewelry/ cuff link cup. Measures 54"h x 42"w x 23" d. Vintage Handcarved Mohogany Armoire/Wardrobe
This beautiful. Hand-carved vintage wardrobe dates back to early 1900s. It is in great condition, and has all the original closet hooks and handles. The mirror on the inside of the door is not chipped or cracked. The door has a functioning lock that requires a skeleton key, which also comes with this unique piece of fine furniture. There are a few visible chips on the wood on corners and sides from being moved. It is a gorgeous addition to any collection. And has recently been appraised at $3000.00.

Nice Vintage Cedar Closet Looks great with aged cedar inside and outside and beautiful old patina and color. Wood is 1/2 inch thick. And there is a pole at the top for hanging clothes. Has original brass key and 4 casters were put on the bottom for easy moving. Measures 64" tall. Trim at the top and bottom is 32" wide Main piece is 29.5" wide Depth is 21.5" deep Condition is very good. Sturdy, with usual cedar knots, splits and dings, but nothing serious. There is some writing on the back, and a line that looks like a crack but isn't. It's where some stain came off. Free Pick up only or you can arrange for shipping. Cash will be accepted on pick up.
