Unfortunately someone has cut a small hole in the back of the piece, but this could easily be repaired. I am unsure of the exact age or manufacture of the piece. It features a gorgeous crown molding around the top that is finished with an ornately carved pediment at the center for a majestic finished look. The piece also features a carving at the center front bottom, capped with a shell motif at the base of the carving at the top. It is a TURN OF THE CENTURY Victorian TABLE TOP OAK CHEST with 3 drawers and an open space. I believe it is a jewelry chest/ armoire or a gentlemans valet.not really sure.Some of it appears to be tiger oak. It is QUITE UNUSUAL with ornate metal work on ALL 4 CORNERS on the TOP of the chest.as well as ALL 4 CORNERS on the FRONT of the chest. Both front doors also have a metal SHIELD decoration and one side has a key lock which I do not have the key for. Nor do I know if it works.but looks very classy with all the Victorian Fancy Hardware. When opened. It reveals 3 drawers ~ 1 larger bottom one and 2 smaller side ones. It also has an open space to the right of the smaller drawers. The HANDLES on the 3 drawers are ORNATE with UNUSUAL DROP BAIL PULLS! ONE pull is MISSING. There is one pull which is unattached and as there is some metal damage to the 2 other handles. It will need some fixing.but still acceptable for its age in my opinion. Back is made of 2 pieces of wood and is not split. Just age seperation. The bottom is covered in old felt. CONDITION: ONE SIDE of the cabinet/chest has a center split in the wood. There appears to have been some work on the side that is split.I think it is all original with reinforcing screws.but because this is not my area of

This item is one of the most beautiful vase of my collection. It is in astonishingly perfect condition and boast its impressive color all over its surface. Red dots are placed all over its surface evenly and it comes mild brown whit a distance. The case was made only for this item and used for preserving the artifacts of before Qing dynasty( Song. Yuan, Ming and Qing) from invasion of Japan army in 1932 and, in 1948, the containers were moved to Taiwan from fire of the Chinese Civil War. On the seal. It says"Committee of Palace Preservation" and inside, there is mark of inspector. From the mark at the bottom. It is estimated to be made 18th century, Qing dynasty, Qianlong period.
