This oak armoire is 82" tall. 52" wide and 18.5" deep. It has two doors which measures 59.5" x 23.5" There are two drawers on the bottom which measure 6 3/8" x 16" each. The molding at the top would blend nicely with arts and crafts design. There are two splits on the back side of the left door on the back board. This does not in any way affect stability. The right door has some chewiness at the corner on the inside only probably from wear. There are two plastic over metal shelves currently installed. Antique European English Oak Armoire Late 1700's- Early 1800's All Pegged
This is a beautiful antique wardrobe of English origin. We believe this piece dates to the late 1700's/early 1800s. Constructed from oak. This is a solid piece of funiture with peg construction. The overall dimensions of this piece are: height = 75 5/8" width at base =57 5/8" depth = 20" The top of this has a crest with dental molding. The cabinet at the crest measures 21 5/8" x 60.5" The armoire has two doors on the top case that have locks on them. The left door has a key and locks but we do not have the key for the right side. Both doors have brass knobs and hinges on them. I believe these are original pieces that have been polished. This top section measures as follows: width = 54" depth = 17 13/16" The inside dimensions for each side are: 25.5" wide x 46.5" height x 16" depth. There ... moreis a wall between the two sections. Both sections have rods for hanging clothes. Beneath this section is a bank of four drawers. The drawers are pegged as well. There are cracks on the top two drawers that have been repaired. It also appears on the inside of the drawers that the handles were replaced. This piece is made from two sections and can be broken down to move it. There are appropriate signs of age including scratches. Dings, divets, cracks, and losses to the wood. This is a previously owned item and it is being sold as shown. Vintage Early 1900s Oak Wardrobe, Desk & Chest Combination Original Finish
This is a nice. Heavy piece of oak furniture from the early 1900s. It is a combination piece featuring a wardrobe on one side while the other side has a hat box top with a drawer and then a desk with two more drawers below. This piece is in good original condition with its original finish. The chest is 61 inches high by 46 inches across at the top and is 21 inches deep. The piece is tight and not loose. The wood is nice as shown in the photos. The piece has been used and does have some minor scratches and scrapes due to its vintage condition. The interior is clean with a few blemishes. The base of the hat box section is slightly warped and the fold down door of the desk does need some work as it sticks and the hinges are loose. The pigeon holes with the little drawer is inside as seen in the pictures. The wardrobe's main attribute is that it knocks down into many pieces so goes up the majority of staircases so a good depth to hang clothes in. The wardrobe stands on square back legs and small queen ann style cabriole front legs. There are two large doors either side of one slightly breakfront door and three drawers beneath this middle door. The doors to the sides and middle have a smaller bottom panel and larger top ... morepanel with each panel having a lovely carving to the top of the panel. The middle door has a similar carving to the top and the three drawers have a carving to the sides of the drawers and their original brass drop handle. The top has a standard graduated cornice that is beautifully arched to the centre. Behind the doors there is plenty of storage space for many clothes. The height is 210cm. SUPERB WALNUT OAK ART DECO ANTIQUE WHEELED RAILROAD SERVING BEVERAGE CART TABLE
We are pleased to offer this beautiful. Antique(c1920) wheeled beverage serving cart. This wonderful cart is made of walnut with an oak top. According to the previous owner, the cart had been a serving piece on an old passenger railroad. The cart has a center drawer on the upper front. The glass knobs are old and original and feature an incised/ribbed design. The cart has a two tone finish which is quite striking. The oak top is a medium golden brown while the walnut(shelves and legs) is in a very dark finish. There are brass flat screws which are exposed for a"riveted" effect. The top of the cart features these on all sides(photo 5) The cart is wheeled with the original casters in place. The drawer has an old"barn wood" looking bottom with the wood rough hewn. There are several areas of stamped letters and numbers under ... morethe cart with most of them being indiscernible. The cart is stamped"I.C.C.6" very clearly under the middle shelf. I do not know if this is a manufacturer's mark. There is a piece of an old moving sticker still attached as well. This is a beautiful. Antique cart with a sleek and slightly modern design. It is in very good antique condition. It is quite sturdy and the wheels move freely. The wheels do show some age and are pitted from use. There is a very slight water mark on the top but it is not distracting. There is a mark on the lower shelf as well. The wood has some minor chips, but again, nothing distracting. The finish is old and original and has a general"crackled" appearance. The cart measures are follows: The top. Which over hangs the entire piece is 34.75" wide and 19.5" deep(front to back) The shelves are 24.5" wide and 15.5" front to back. The cart stands 29.5" tall. There is approximately 9.5" of visible space between the skirted section of the top and the middle shelf and 7.5" of visible space between the lower and middle shelves. Large antique English Oak Triple Door Armoire with original bevelled mirror
This piece is in Dallas TX and you must come get it. This piece has gorgeous and modern detailing on the sides. Nice acorn legs, brass detailing on the locks and the bevelled mirror, original to the piece, is in great shape. This breaks down all the way into very easy to move pieces. It used to be one of my trick questions I would ask people"what do you think was the very hardest thing to move? And they would guess this piece and be wrong. I am using this piece to store approx 3,000 record albums, tapes and video gear. The 1st two doors open up to a very sizeable space with one original shelf at the top along with shelves I added to support my record collection. The 3rd door opens to various original drawers, shelves and cubbies. I am downsizing and considering selling this piece to someone that wants to pick it up.
