We've owned and used it for 30 years and I can attest that it holds a lot. I haven't done a thing to it since I've owned it other than used it for its intended purpose. The upper door panels are split and the back legs are thin but other than that it shows only typical wear from use. All original patina and finish can be not be mistaken when gazing at this piece. We believe this is from the 1890's-1920's. Someone has converted this to a linen press by adding shelves that can be removed. Simple design completes this wardrobe to perfection. Two doors and a lower drawer adds extra storage. Striking oak grain completes this piece to perfection. Use this piece in your living room. Library, dining room, sitting room, bedroom, etc. The warm, patina, lovely simple details, combined with the simple, clean, construction of this piece allows you to incorporate this into your decor with the utmost of ease.
