Antique Art Nouveau Vase Arts & Crafts Movement Hammered Metal
For sale is this exquisite antique Art Nouveau Vase. I also list this under Arts& Crafts as I believe it to be a cross-over piece. There are elements of both movements in its design. I found he vase buried in an old house. It was just filthy but I loved the design so much that I had to purchase it. Really did take me an incredibly long time to polish. I left the underside unpolished so you could see how much it needed to be cleaned. I believe this is silver plate over brass. Some of the brass is showing through. Which is most apparent on the bottom ring. There are a few dings as shown, which is why I have my opening bid priced so low. However, really lovely and a wonderful find. Measures approx. 13 1/2" h with a base diameter of 5" Shipping is $9.95 across US connecting states.

Antique Art NOUVEAU Arts& Crafts WATERBURY Brass Clock w/ BIRD c. 1894 Here is a gorgeous original antique brass Waterbury art Nouveau clock. It stands 7 1/2 ins. tall by 4 ins. wide at the base. It is in good condition. I have no idea if it works as I am always scared to wind these to test, so I don't. The clock face is in good shape, original glass cover. It is marked Manufactured by Waterbury Clock Co. U.S.A. On the back plate it is marked with this. Last patent date is 1894 for this one. Then you see the other Waterbury mark. Clock face is about 1 15/16ths ins. approx. I liked the little bird down here. I believe this is brass with a brass finish. Offered is a vintage Art Nouveau or Arts& Crafts Pewter Candlestick. It is 8" tall. And the base is 4 1/4" wide, 5" across the bottom of the feet. There is a nice candle wax patina on this piece. I have left it as I found it. The pewter is soft, and bends easily. One of the feet is bent, as shown in the photos. Unfortunately. Lovely Arts & Crafts/ Art Nouveau Fireplace Screen/Guard.
I have for auction a wonderful Art Nouveau fireplace screen/guard. 54cm tall by 34cm wide. It is formed from a soft metal which I believe to be Copper. The design at the top suggests that it would be hung in front of the hearth. It has been burnished and blackened through use which has resulted in a gorgeous patina upon its surface. Four high quality cast iron coat hooks based on an original Edwardian Arts& Crafts/ Art Nouveau design by C.F.A.Voysey and also very similar to a hook design by M H Baillie Scott. Elegant spear bud shaped backplates(maximum width 1.75" Each bearing three countersunk screw holes for fixing and a hook shaft which protrudes upward out from the backplate at an angle of around 45 degrees. The hooks each stand approximately 3.75" tall when fixed and protrude just under 3" from the wall. These are finished castings with any burrs/irregularities rubbed down, with a bare iron finish. There may be some light speckled surface rusting due to the unlacquered, bare-metal nature of these hooks. Can be readily lacquered or overpainted if desired. Ideal for hall stands and coat racks. These antique tudric pewter napkin rings are becoming scarce and this one is a beautiful one to add to your set. It has no defects. The only mark is"made in England" These come from Liberty& Co. Though this one is not marked as such. They were retailed in the early 1900s. I have seen these attributed to Archibald Knox in prior auctions but I am not certain about that. This one measures about 5 cm in diameter and about 3 cms in height.

Circa 1880-1900. But please make up your own mind about this. The pitcher measures approx 8 inches(205mm) tall. And is made from solid copper throughout. It is decorated with a beautiful ART NOUVEAU design. Embossed on both sides of the body. It is in good original condition with very light wear consistent with its great age. But no major damage or repairs. The pitcher has aquired a dull patina with age. see photos. It would easily polish up to a bright finish. But this is a choice I leave to you. antique desk art nouveau craftsman arts crafts turn of century walnut victorian
This is a solid walnut carved art- nouveau/craftsman- styled desk which is finished on all four sides. I am estimating it was made between 1895-1915. When this style was gaining popularity. However, this kind of desk is extremely RARE. Especially since it is finished on all four sides. The very first photo has the front finished side with the five drawers/cabinets, and the other side has the identical carvings but with no drawers(last photo listed) There are also two different close-ups of either side of the most carved part, photos 2 and 7. The very first picture is a photo of the desk without the red felt covering, which was replaced recently after it was discovered through restoration work that the original top of the desk was red felt originally. This desk was bought at an auction of an old Pasadena home, where it"lived" for ... morea great number of years. There is slight peeling of the top walnut veneer but it can be easily repaired. Here is a very nice Arts and Crafts period spirit kettle with original stand and burner. It is brass with a hand wrought iron stand. The stand exhibits art nouveau influence with its sinuous forms. It is unmarked. Condition is very good. There is some variation to the patina and spotting as expected for age. There is some finish loss to the wood handles. The spout has a small dent and some crimping to the tip as shown. This is 14" tall by 11" deep. The kettle is 9 1/2" across to the tip of the spout. Flat rate shipping is free to the US. Very Unusual and Early European Secessionist Arts& Crafts Copper Candle Sticks The Pair is 6" tall and the bases are 4 1/2" by 4 1/2" No makers mark. But the tops have several patent numbers from France, Spain and"Eng(lish) Letters" It is thought that the patent may have been for the open work style. Maybe to allow one to scrape the candle nubbins out. Both of the stick are in decent condition. One is a bit lose on the base, but there is no major damage. This stick has some very light green patina in a few places, and they both need a light cleaning. Other than a random surface scuffs they quite nice. Nice even coloration of the patina other than the slight green area. I stand by my descriptions. This beautiful antique 800 Silver bowl is simply striking and I believe it was done in the style of the Art Nouveau period but perhaps it would be considered more Arts& Crafts. But I will have to leave that determination to the experts. This lovely bowl measures 13 1/2" long, 8" wide and stands about 2 1/8" tall at the handles and weighs 12.5 oz on my postal scale& 352.4 grams. It is marked 800 along with a Lion facing left inside of an oval. A Crescent Moon and Crown. I am not familiar with this makers mark and hopefully someone will recognize it. Hi Super Original Desktop Box in dark wood with brass finish to the edges. Mounted on circular brass feet and with an inset design to top in brass. I cannot decide if this box is Art Deco or possibly Art Nouveau going by the design to the top. Internally the box has been felt lined to the base and a piece of fabric has been affixed to the inside of the lid using drawing pin's which still has two long pins(hat pins) in place. Great Condition overall. Would really benefit from a polish to the brass and wood which would make this wonderful box look really rather nice. Lamb Brothers Leaded Glass Lamp Arts Crafts Nouveau Handel BH Era
This is an auction for a very nice Lamb Brothers Leaded glass lamp from the 20's or 30's. It is from a local estate and had been in the family since new. The shade has caramel or off white panels and the floiage is made up of darker panels of caramel and light green. The foliage decoration at the bottom of the shade repeats on 4 sides. I consider this one of their better shades. It is not marked. But is definitely Lamb. The lamp is in working condition and is completely original except for the vintage Arrow pulls and a recent rewire with cloth cord. It is ready to go in your home right now. I have tried to picture all issues with the lamp, and none of them detract very much from its overall beauty, but they need to be mentioned. I have pictured several panels that have cracks. There appear to be 11 total. 10 have the cracking in the ... moreglass in the lower foliage areas of the shade and one appears to be an old heat crack in the top row which is pretty typical of older lamps. The cracks at the base of the shade are all stable with no glass missing and are on two sides 180 degrees from each other. The other 2 foliage areas have no cracks. Probably it was placed on the points at one time which caused this. Again, the lamp is very presentable in light of these, but I wanted to make sure the buyer is aware. The base has not been cleaned, and has a couple of small spots near the plug wire entrance that would be normal wear. The shade measures 18" plus across and the lamp stands approx. 22" tall. The item is in a good condition but does show a dent on the bottom of the kettle on the foot which i have photographed. There is no damage to the basket weave decoration on the stand and kettle itself. The burner to the spirit kettle is fully functional and the winding mechanism to raise and lower the wick is functional. There is no wobble to the base. Art Nouveau or Arts & Crafts Style Metal Card Box
I purchased this at auction. I thought it was neat. Decorated in an Arts& Crafts/ Art Nouveau style with the leaves across the top with a loop to help open the box held on with a bracket and round fasteners. I don't understand how they are held on. All metal. Measures 9" long x 3 1/4" wide x 1 3/8" tall. No marks. Inside: 4 slots for cards? Tray for pens when open? The problem with this is if it is real, it's a treasure. If it is a reproduction, I can see it too. It has smeared patina, looks like sand in the bottom interior, rust in and out, looks like old paint scraped off with years of being in a cellar or garage shelf.
