A large rectangular mirror on the single cabinet door, and exquisite paneled accent carvings on either side of the mirror. The bevelled edge mirror is very clean almost suggesting that is has been replaced but I found no evidence to support that it is not the original. The cabinet door has an ornate solid drop pull and the drawer has two large decorative bail pulls. The skirt is arched on the side of the piece and there are scalloped brackets on the front. The interior is paneled and has two mounted hooks and 6 sliding hooks on the hanging bar. A very nice piece in remarkable condition for the age(circa 1890) this armoire is certain to become a cherished heirloom. Condition: It has some age appropriate signs of wear including scratches. With just the right coloring to show off its best parts. This really is one of the most beautiful pieces we have offered, and the biggest contributor to the beauty is the patina and the warm stain. It also has beautiful carved scroll work and flowers, similar to some I have seen on Eastlake era pieces. It has beveled glass mirrors with some silvering occurring, but even this, I can see a way to appreciate the way it has come about along the edges. This can be broken down and moved easily as it is actually three separate pieces- a top piece, the main body of the armoire, and the drawers underneath. The hardware is original on the front. I am listing a Gorgeous Antique Washed Pine Armoire/Wardrobe with Beautiful Hand Carvings on the Doors and Moulding. It is either of Belgium or UK heritage and is Circa early 1900's. It was retrofitted to hold a TV. But can easily convert back to a hanging wardrobe. Doors are designed to slip back into the Armoire. Storage Draw below.Excellent condition. Carved Oak 1900 Antique Triple Armoire. Elegant but understated. This armoire or wardrobe was hand carved of solid oak about 1900. The finish is remarkably well preserved on this antique furniture from Austria. Waxed and buffed. Only an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth is needed to maintain its warm patina. ANTIQUE ARTS & CRAFTS LADIES ARMOIRE, C.1900
This delicately carved tiger oak armoire combines simple lines with intricate detailing on a very graceful scale. The piece has plenty of storage room despite its relatively small size(for an armoire) So it can be used in a variety of spaces. It has its original soft golden finish and beautifully crafted bronzed hardware, typical of the period. The armoire is in good condition, but there are age cracks in the wood on both sides of the bottom section(see photos) which do not, however, affect the stability of the piece. It measures 31 inches wide by 72 inches high by 14.5 inches deep. Comes in 3 pieces for easy pickup. Similar armoires of this period go for $700 and upward.

An authentic Country French armoire or wardrobe from about 1900 is solid walnut with an original satin finish in extremely fine condition. This furniture from France has been waxed and buffed so that only an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth is needed to maintain its warm patina. The hand carved crest in high relief is beautiful. There is a"secret" drawer in the base. Inside are shelves that adjust on wooden supports. Doors have lift off hinges. This piece disassembles for easier moving. Brass escutcheons are also original. Love this Antique White Gentleman's Wardrobe.it measures 5' 10" tall 3' 1" wide. It measures 2' feet on the inside. It is in excellent used condition. I was excited to find this piece and fell in love with the scroll work on the top edge and on the door. On the inside it is beautiful walnut with a mirror mounted on the door( no cracks) with brass clasp to hold it into place. The door pull is in a tear drop and that just makes the whole piece work. The original finish on fruitwood is very well preserved, it has been waxed and buffed so all that is needed to maintain its warm patina is an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth. There are warps. Mars and shrinkage separations from age for character. Mirrors have a little antique"smoke" to show their age. Hardware is original, there are no keys, modern magnetic catches secure the doors. Inside are original clothes hooks, sides were later lined with cedar to protect from insects. This historic furniture can be disassembled for easier moving. The drawers pull well, the mirror is trendy, the pulls are lovely and original, the door opens to 3 shelves which are clean and the entire piece comes apart into 3 sections for moving.
