Dating from ... morethe 1870s to 1880s this is in great original finish dresser. It has burl raised panel picture frame panel molded drawers on the two large and four small drawers. It has dainty brass handle hardware which I am not sure are original. The keyhole escutcheon are the big round medallions. The candle shelves have heavy incise carved burl front shelf supports, burl walnut trim going up the mirror and the big crest on top with a doorbell looking medallion on the top. The mirror is bevel glass, which is normally straight glass. The drawers are all hand cut dove tail. The overall size is 48 inches wide, 21 inches deep and 90 inches high overall.

It is in ... morereally nice condition. I am assuming that it was finished a long time ago as the finish is dull/worn down and mellow looking. A couple of coats of lacquer could be added to give it a more vibrant look if desired, but I personally like the mellow finish. The dresser has white and gray grained round corner marble top with the insert in the center, raised burl panels on the drawers, big circular buttons on the middle of the large drawers, Victorian tear drop pulls, candle shelves on the mirror, applied carvings, burl panels and a beautifully carved fancy crest. It has the original old mirror showing minor silver wear.

The white marble has an ogee bevel edge. It has brass cast hardware. It has a center medallion on the large drawer. The hidden drawer on the base is extra deep and has a burl walnut accent face. There is a slight cup where it likely sat uneven (1/8” dip) on each side. It is likely that you won’t notice, but I wanted to be upfront about it. The dresser is in nice condition with burl walnut panels across the top of the shapely mirror, across the dove tail drawer fronts and carved columns coming down into 45-degree angles, nice hardware, hand cut dove tail drawers.

Dating from the 1870s, it has burl panels all over, hand carved crest on the very top, five different style shapely mirrors, rose quartz on the drop center and two top columns, four small drawers, one large drawer on the base and a hidden drawer on the very bottom. The burl panels are all picture frame molded on the drawers and on the inside of the drop center. It has oversize candle shelves. In my over 50 years in the business, I don’t believe I have owned this model even though I have had my share of drop center dressers.

This Walnut Victorian bedroom set is in very nice condition for it age. The white and grey marble shows only normal signs of use having some slight discoloration. But no cracks or breaks. There is a repair to the footboard which is very sturdy and secure, not an issue and not very noticable~see picture#4.
