VINTAGE BRONZE PROPELLER BOAT PROP 18 INCH 3 BLADE TAPER MOUNT
Here is a vintage bronze boat propeller. It is about 18 inches in diameter with 3 blades. It has a taper mount that is about 7/8 inch on the small side. And about 1 1/8 on the big end. The length at the shaft is 3 1/4 inches. I don't see any damage or large nicks on the blades. There are some hammer marks where the it mounts onto the shaft. There is a number that is barely visible on that surface. There is a K 1(not legible) then I think an 18. This thing weighs about 13 lbs. Hope someone can use it. Don't want to scrap it!

This is a stunning large cigar box. Rectangular in shape with a lift off lid. The lid of the box has a stunning bronze plaque with Mount Fuji rising above the clouds. It's peak covered in snow. The bronze is superbly patinated and it is signed to the right hand side. The lid has canted edges above straight sides. The inside of the box is lined with a wonderful Japanese dark hardwood, The box is large- it is 9-1/2 inches/ 242 mm wide and 6 inches/ 150 mm deep. This is a sailboat mast or spar pole mount. It is made of brass. We found this in a scrap yard here in Washington. Someone cut it off not realizing there was a threaded screw inside. See pics. It is cut but just enough to make the brass shiney. Still would be great for reuse. The threaded part measures 3+3/8 inches long and fits a 1+7/8 inch diameter pole. This is a solid bronze handle of some sort. I couldn't find one like it so I'm not sure what it is for. It is app. 8 inches long. It turns about 1/4 and the stem has a groove to catch whatever it goes into. The stem is 3/4 inches across. There is one remaining screw and bolt. Please check out my other listings. This bell has a mount bracket that would mount to a mast or bulkhead(or your kitchen wall! The bronze surface has a attractive patina and the sound is loud and clear, with a nice long fade. Measurements at 8" Tall from rim to top of bell, 7-5/8" Diameter at rim, mount screw-plate is 4-1/2" Long. The bell weight is 8-1/2 pounds. The blue and red cords were on the bell when I found it. These brass colored flush mount door pulls are in their original box and have not been used though they probably date from the 1960's. They are fresh from a local estate. The box has a label that say's: KV 100 No. 801XBZ Pulls Bronze Knape& Vogt Mfg. Co. Grand Rapids. Mich. U.S.A. on the end. If I counted them correctly there are 82 of them left in the box. The outside diameter is about 1 inch and the part that pushes into the sliding door is about 3/4 of an inch. This was a Mid-Century Modern style that was popular in the 1960's, they would be used in sliding cabinet doors for pushing the doors sideways. This is a brass ships bell mount arm we salvaged out of an old boat shed. It should fit a 8 inch Perko ships bell. It measures 7+3/4 inches long and the hole is 9/16 inch diameter for the bolt. The base plate measures 5+1/2 inches across and it has 4 holes that are 5/16 inches diameter. It has some wear but would be excellent for that ships bell restoration or repair.
