Victorian/Eastlake Tall Etagere
I fell in love with this etagere immediately. I still can't tell what the wood is. But I think it's a light colored mahogany. It is missing one finial on the bottom left, and there is a chip on the bottom decorative piece that runs across horizontally. Very strong and sturdy though definitely not intended for use as a bookshelf. 58" high x 27" wide. Top shelf is 6 1/2" deep and bottom shelf is 10" deep.bThe shelves get gradually wider. Eastlake Victorian Walnut Dresser With White Marble Top, Diamond Dust Mirror
This is a really nice old Eastlake Victorian dresser. It is in remarkably good condition. The drawers have the pegged scolloped rabbet joint very typical of the 1870's. The drawer bottoms are all original and in good condition. The top drawer which got a lot more use than the other drawers was worn on the bottom so its sides have been added onto to make them the proper size. The knobs have been replaced. But there is just one hole in the drawer indicating that the original pulls were single knobs. More pictures can be made available upon request for such things as I just described. This dresser is 98 inches tall to the top of the mirror. The dresser base is 26 inches tall to the top of the marble and it is 46 inches wide. The depth from front to back is 20-1/2 inches. Up for sale is this great Antique marble top dresser it stands over 7 feet tall with the mirror connected to it. It is about 43 inches wide and about 20 inches deep. It has a stunning mirror all complete and not broken. Its flaws are a crack in the marble top but was fixed at some point in itslife so it is one solid piece of marble just re glued back together. The drawer has divided compartments and the tasseled key works the lock. Below the drawer is a ring turned towel bar and lower down is a small storage shelf. This Victorian- Eastlake walnut dresser is a fine specimen of the Eastlake period of simple but elegant design. The mirror latch shows a date of August. 1884. The piece has four dovetail drawers and a cabinet with a turning wood handle latch. This is an antique Eastlake hand-carved dresser cabinet with a swivel mirror and one drawer. Quite unusual and ornate in styling. Lots of hand-carved detailing including a lovely Victorian fern in a pot on the top of the drawer. The initials"DB" are carved into the pot of the fern. Perhaps this was made as a gift to"DB" In generally good condition with what appears to be the original finish. The mirror has a good deal of silver loss but no cracks or chips. It sits firmly and holds its position when swiveled. There is a small stress crack on the left rear corner(next to the mirror support) which has been repaired and is now quite stable. See close-up. Fine Eastlake Victorian Chestnut & Walnut Drop Center Dresser
Up for auction is a Victorian drop center dresser. It is special in that it is made of American Chestnut. A species that was wiped out by chestnut blight- very few mature specimens exist today. The dresser is in good condition, with the exception of a small repair(pictured) and some dings from someone's overzealous hammer use. The original beveled mirror is in good shape with some streaking as expected for a 130+year old mirror. The dresser would be a great accent piece, or could be converted to a sink basin. Oak Eastlake Spoon Carved Dresser with beveled mirror
For your consideration is this beautiful oak Eastlake style dresser. With intricate spoon carving throughout. It's three drawers have the original pressed brass handles. Overall condition is good, although it is an antique and so the occasional scratch or ding should be expected. The grain on this piece is incredibly tight and bespeaks true old growth lumber construction. The drawers are dove-tailed, although it should be noted that the middle drawer has had the sides and bottom replaced. Please note that the streaks in the beveled mirror are the result of my failed Windex job, not an imperfection in the mirror. The mirror itself is near perfect, with only small spots of very faint clouding in the upper corners(I had actually never noticed them until careful inspection in preparation for selling) Dimensions are as follows: 17.5 inches ... moredeep. 41 inches wide, base is 31.5 inches tall, mirror adds an additional 40 inches(overall height 6ft. Absolutely stunning set of Eastlake Aesthetic bedroom furniture! They are oak and maple burl drawer front veneers. Edges have maple leaf relief carvings. These have ALL original pewter pulls and hardware and they are in amazing condition. There are a few specks of paint and dirt but no major problems with the finish. The commode is missing it's backsplash and the marble on the chest has a rough rear edge as well as a small very pale yellowish spot about 2 inches wide on the left side. It has been finished with a lovely marble surface and a large mirror top. The mirror has a beautiful and ornate carved design. Three large drawers sit below the marble surface. The drawers have dovetailed construction. All of the drawers are 33" wide and 14" deep. The top drawers is 6 1/8" tall. The middle is 7" tall and the bottom is 8 1/2" tall. The entire set-up measures 86" in height. It is 41 3/4" at the widest point. And 17 3/4" deep. It weighs approximately 177 pounds. The exposed marble surface measures 40 7/8" by 13 3/4" This is in great. Antique condition overall with some general signs of age and use. There are no visible cracks or repairs. There are ... morea few chips along the dresser edge. It appears as though there was originally a crown as well as a pair of candle holder arms. These pieces are no longer included. The mirror may be a replacement, since it is not beveled, but it is still a lovely match. There is a slight separation in the joint at the top of the mirror arch. I see a few very faint paint splatters on the dresser. There are minor imperfections, such as scratches or spots of wear, which I believe should be expected on a piece of this age. There was a worn piece of wrapping paper around this little mirror. And just one piece of it was saved. The last photo shows that paper! It has"1 Augest Thonsen 1878" That's what it looks like to me, but maybe I'm not seeing it correctly! The overall size of this old mirror is 8" x 14 1/2" tall. The actual mirror size is 5 1/2" x 9 3/4" tall. An expert said it is diamond dust, but I can't guarantee that. The best way to tell if it really is diamond dust is when it's damaged. This one is in encased in wood with screws and has been in a dry climate(Denver) for over 136 years, so there's no damage! The"burled" walnut is a veneer, and that's easy to see when you look at the back of it! This lovely dresser measures a total height to the top of the pediment on the mirror of 76 1/2 inches. The dresser width measures 46 inches, dresser depth measures 18 inches, and the height from the floor to the top of the marble measures 39 inches,height from the floor to the lower base top is 20 inches, and this piece weighs approximately 135 lbs. This wonderful Eastlake piece offers a fantastic beveled cheval mirror that pivots front to back. And is encased in a gorgeous carved maple frame with a lovely incised carved pediment at the top. The mirror rests in ... morebetween two upright carved supports with the original fancy brass inserts that secures the mirror into the supports. The mirror portion and the marble does lift off to allow easier transport and moving. We believe the beveled mirror to be original and it measures 47 inches high by 23 inches wide and only has some very light silver dusting that's age appropriate. The finish appears original and does have some age& wear on the top of the base, there is unusual black marble on the right side above the stack of smaller drawers measures 15 1/4 inches wide by 13 inches deep. The base offers three smaller storage drawers on the right over two larger ones each having period brass Eastlake pulls. Period dove-tailed ends and all the locks are intact on the drawers but we do not have they key. The dresser base does have its original casters to aid in easier movement within your home. SET OF 4 VERY NEAT ORIGINAL EASTLAKE VICTORIAN DRESSER DRAWER PULLS MADE OUT OF EBONY WOOD AND BRASS. EBONY WOOD KNOB IS ABOUT 2" LONG AND IS ABOUT 3-1/2" FROM THE TIP OF THE FINIAL TO THE TOP OF THE BACKPLATE. ONE OF THE PULLS HAS A SHORTER SHAFT. SOME OF THE BACKPLATES ARE A LITTLE BENT AROUND THE EDGES. BUT I'M SURE THEY COULD BE STRAIGHTENED OUT EASILY. THE BLACK WOODEN KNOBS HAVE A FEW SCUFFS ON THEM.

Eastlake antique dresser with mirror & marble top 4 drawers
I wish I knew more about this dresser but I don't. I bought it at an estate sale& it really is in excellent condition. It has 4 drawers total. 2 top& bottom& then 2 smaller ones along the the top. The drawers move smooth& the mirror& marble are in excellent condition. The marble is a redish brown color. The top is all carved wood. VICTORIAN EASTLAKE CHERRY? 1889 ANTIQUE CHEST/DRESSER~ALL ORIGINAL
I bought this from an old timer here in Hatfield and it was his mother's. That makes me the second owner. It dates to 1888-99 based on the scallop. And pin joinery shown in the drawers. It is all original. All drawers work well. One of the drawers has a square of yellow paint on the inside front. Also. There is one solid brass drawer pull that does not match all the others. I found. A semi match in a salvage shop in Aurora. Oregon. I currently have this piece in my living room and it looks gorgeous. Way to nice. To have tucked away in a bedroom. 41.5"inches across. 20.75"inches deep. 29.5"inches tall. Drawers are 35.75 by 15"inches with 5.5"inch depth.
