Hand Blown Selenium Red Glass Decanter With Original Stopper Czech Steuben
Glass is light in weight and has a slight iridescence to it. Decanter is 7.5 inches tall. 9.75 inches with stopper in, stopper measures 3.75 inches. Hand blown with open pontil, no mark, glass has slightly oily feel, probably european. Good condition, no damage, some soiling on the inside bottom which should come out if you can get at it with a brush. Returns accepted for any reason. Buyer pays postage. This decanter created c 1780 has stunning etched grape leave vine and grapes design with an armorial and figurals of lion and unicorn and a banner underneath that states“Diet Et Mon Droit” It is in excellent condition for its age with only minor scratches and a few chip around the top. I beleive this is the armorial for the Hose of Wndsor the current mmonarchy of England. It is an excellent historic piece of early glass ware. Pair Antique Vtg Cut Glass Bar Decanters Numbered Hand Made & Well Made
Pair of Handsome antique cut glass decanters. Not signed but well made. One decanter is etched on the stopper 81 and on the inside neck of the decanter is also an etched 81. The other decanter stopper is marked 10 and the bottle is marked on the outside below the top on the neck 6. So that one is a marriage but in the same style and from the same maker. It sits nice just not as tight as the 81 bottle and stopper. At first glance they appear to be the same. But looking again you can some subtle differences. One is slightly shorter. This ones neck flares out more. The verticle and horizontal cut are wider. This one also has a cut star bottle where the others is polished. The shape is slightly different. This pair is really striking and made by hand as you can tell by the differences noted above. The height is approx. 9" tall with stopper ... morex 3 3/4" at the widest portion. They are both in very nice condition. The stopper of 81 has a few small chips on the bottom portion and at the top where the points are. See photos. The bodies on both have no cracks or chips. They are slightly hazey on the inside but very minor. The 81 is the better of the 2. There are the normal scratches on the base from age. 81 weights 2.6 lbs and the 10/6 weights 2.2 lbs Please roll over all 12 photos with mouse for close up and details as these are also part of the description. EGG SHAPE DECANTER - CZECHOSLAVAKIA - 1940'S/50'S
Here is another beautiful egg shaped decanter set from Czechoslavakia- it is stamped on the metal insert on the inside. The floral design on the outside appears to be small beads of glass- painted. The inside has a bottle in the center and 6"drink" glasses. The overall height is approximately 9 1/2" tall. I believe this piece was made in the 1940's or 50's. Some of the 6 glasses do have rough edges but not enough to take away the beauty of this great piece. The estate had more than one of these- I am listing another this evening- check it out. Very old crystal decanter. Belonged to owner's grandfather. 8 1/2" tall. Not signed. Handle has some fissures that are not actually cracked or separated(see photo 2) I'm gu essing the decanter might have been s tored in a very hot storage(location of item is Phoenix! The inside of the decanter has mineral deposits. I d id not try to clean as I many collectors like to do their own cleaning. This could use a good cleaning inside and out. This old embossed leather carrying case contains two glass bottles covered with leather with the print: WHISKY and COGNAC. These have two really nice jiggers as covers. You be the judge about filling them and slanging them over your shoulder. But I would suggest for DISPLAY ONLY. The silver covering on each cap has an age crack, but the top, itself, is not cracked. I bought it at an estate sale and have not put liquid of anykind in them. The leather strap and zipper is dead and will need to be left"as is" It measures 7-1/2" tall and 5-1/2" wide. It is very old.

Is fitted with a sterling silver shaped sparrows beak pour spout with wide collar bordered by 15 concentric arrow head drops around its base and a hinged domed cover(with thumb lift) surmounted by a flat Medieval/ Celtic circular cross. The top is a lovely detailed pewter lid which opens and closes easily and tightly. The graceful glass body is in very good condition with a couple flea bite nicks on the bottom edge and obvious wear on the bottom which is indicative of its age. Early 1820's Sandwich Glass Hand Blown- Three Mold Geometric Design Decanter This Early American Pattern Glass decanter stands 10 inches tall. Including the stopper& 4 1/2 inches wide. Condition: The piece is in excellent condition. But if you look closely you see a chip in the bottom part because there was a bubble when it was made. there is no hole in the decanter and do not leak. No hairlines or other structural damage. Thousand Eyes Hobnail Glass Decanter blown pressed Antique/vintage early
Antique/Vintage Hobnail Glass Decanter. About 7" tall and 3 1/2" across. Pontil mark on bottom. Very Clear. Very thick Glass. Weighs over a pound. Has a chip on the bottom edge as shown in the fourth picture. Stopper has a chip in the bottom of it. Don't know if it's supposed to be there or not. In a couple of pictures it looks like there is a crack in the top of the decanter but it's just the pattern from the other side of the bottle. This is a very pretty. Very cool piece.

The stopper appears a bit small and has a snapped off top and several chips on the stem. I have never seen a snapped off top on a stopper before. The decanter itself is weighty and highly polished. Very good quality glass. There is a floral and wreath engraving on one side. I researched this piece and found that New England Glass made decanters with this type of handle and body. So it may be their work. There is a large ground and polished pontil. Heavy wear under the base and there is residue on the decanter floor. Other than the ... moreresidue at the floor, the decanter has very good clarity. No chips or cracks. The handle has been double checked for damage and there is none. A few use scratches. UP FOR BIDS IS A AMBER/ CLEAR CUT CRYSTAL TALL HEAVY THICK DECANTER WITH STOPPER/ TOPPER MADE IN W.GERMANY. This beautiful cut and engraved wine/liquor decanter. Has attention to detail, quality craftsmanship. Lovely amber over clear crystal is both cut and engraved to create this decanter. Standing 13.5" in height without topper/ Standing 17" with topper. The base starts with a heavy circular clear band decorated with amber diamonds; the body portion is completely covered with a gorgeous amber-to-clear cut and engraved vintage motif with diamond shape cuts; the top of the neck is a band of amber with the bottle dripping with beautiful amber stripes. BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE cut glass decanter and stopper- LOOKS Irish- nicely cut band!!
This decanter could be even older than 1850. But I really can't date it accurately, except to say it's very old I'm guessing 1920's AT LEAST. It's beautiful cut crystal and has an intricately cut band going around the upper central portion where your hand grabs it to pour. Then large cut ovals above and below this band. It's topped off with a dazzling HUGE cut glass knob topped stopper. The decanter without the stopper measures 8 1/4" high, and the stopper measures just shy of 4" long. CONDITION: A relatively small nick in the upper lip of the decanter, numerous fleabites and nicks on the base of the stopper, some very light clouding on some sections of the interior, can totally still see through the glass, some colored liquid in it and I believe it would disappear. I felt all the way around the diamond cut ... moreband about three times and felt nothing, and I see nothing on that. The flat base has numerous light scratches commiserate with age and use. The stopper has 3 or 4 small bubbles in the glass, and there are a few in the glass of the decanter as well. I see no signature or maker's mark. This is a great addition to the cocktail table, cart or tray, with some kind of amber colored liquid in it would be ideal. It's a very solid, masculine piece. And again, age wise I'm guessing, I think my pictures came out kind of washed out I don't know yet how much detail you can see against the pink wall. This auction is for a beautiful BOHEMIAN Glass DECANTER with Hand Painted scene from I believe the Opera"The Bartered Bride" There is a scene with a couple(man& woman) in an embrace with the words- Z Prodane nevesty! The Bartered Bride! and Verne nase milovani, Our love is faithful! in a lovely white banner at the bottom of the scene. There are also hand painted flowers/ roses and vines above the main scene and around the sides. There is a glass w/ gold accent stripes stopper. There are gold accents throughout this lovely piece. There is a"28" painted on the bottom probably the artist's number. There is also a gold colored laurel leaf stamp with"Made in Czechoslovakia" stamped on the bottom. There are old glass bubbles throughout this decanter. So nice. The very top lip of this decanter looks like it ... moreis has been ground smooth where it was rough, but cannot really be seen. There is one sliver missing from the top lip around the same area. The Stopper(top) is also marked"28" to it is sure to be the original stopper, which can be rare to find. There is no damage at all on it. This measures 15 1/2" high and 17" in diameter at it's widest on the base. Info on the Opera from Wikipedia as follows: The Bartered Bride( Czech: Prodaná nevěsta.
