Heavy, French Cut Lead Crystal or Glass Liquor Decanter w/ Stopper Design: You are bidding on a vintage. 9.75" tall, heavy, French cut lead crystal or glass liquor decanter with its original paneled prism stopper. As you can see from my photographs. The crystal/glass is very clean and catches and refracts the light remarkably well with no sign of sickness. Decanter's body features a graduated shape, with a paneled body and"double-ringed" neck. Stopper is large, thick and chunky, with inversed, paneled pattern from that of the decanter's base. Lovely piece which displays wonderfully well, and definitely European in provenance, most likely French, but unfortunately I could not locate a maker's hallmark with my jeweler's loop. very unusual cordial decanter quite heavy glass not quite cranberry and not quite salmon but somewhere inbetween. The top is marked as you can see in close up. I am not sure who made it. the handles are applied glass and are not cracked. the stopper is not the original it actually goes down inside a bit to far but seats about 1/2 way down as you can see in photo. very very slight inside like mineral not readily visible have to catch in just the right light holding up as the body of the duck is not crystal clear with the variations of color it is 9 1/2 and 7 inch front chest to back. I did not find any markings on the glass.

Possibly Dorflinger Glass( Antique- Cut( Glass Manufacturer is NOT guaranteed. Collectors. ASK me questions to help you determine! Quite some time ago. We purchased approx 90 pieces of glassware- mostly cruets- from an estate sale. This is the last piece we have from that sale. We also inherited a book from the sale called"Cut Glass Value Guide" Evers' Standard. That book DID NOT help us to name the pattern or manufacturer of this piece. NOTE: Before bidding. Please see the photos and | make your own determination as to what this piece is or to whom it is attributed. It was advertised as"Dorflinger Cordial" I do NOT see any markings to confirm this. ... moreI can not guarantee the mfg name- so please see the closeups! It did come from quite a large collection that was handsomely& safely displayed in glass cases. You are bidding on a nicely sized Glass decanter. Unsure if that's the proper name/lingo- perhaps Jug. Pitcher or Cordial is better? It stands approx 9 1/2" tall with the stopper. 7 1/4" without it. It is quite heavy in weight. Base is somewhat oval in shape. And is approx 6" across and 3 1/2" deep at the widest section. Very bottom has a star burst of sorts on it. Handle is applied. And flattens at the top near the mouth. There is a lip for pouring. Since I don’t have a pattern name– here goes a lame attempt to describe! Has shapes that resemble a fan. Star, and crisscross tiny diamonds. There are five elongated teardrops for lack of a better term surrounding patterns that resemble nicks in the glass. Handle has a great design too. Kind of like a honeycomb, going down the outer side of the handle. I saw one tiny nick at the base edge. A couple of small fleabites& minor roughness on the raised star areas. Antique Old Georgian (?) Pittsburgh Cut Glass Crystal Decanter - Heavy
Featuring an old antique cut glass decanter with a triple ring cut neck. Measures about 10 1/4" high from table to top of stopper. Unsigned. Cut panels on the shoulder and ring neck cutting. Weighs over 2 1/2 pounds. Smooth pontil. Possibly Pittsburgh or Georgian- I'm not sure. Overall condition is excellent with no significant damage. Shows some discoloration in the neck area from age and use- possibly treatable. The stopper has a couple of minor flakes on top and where it fits(see pics) It wobbles slightly when in place. The body is relatively clear for its age and use with normal wear to the base. I believe this item is circa 1820. A great addition to your antique English or American cut glass or EAPG collection. It has a little white line on top. I’m not sure if it’s a scratch. It doesn’t seem like it. I will try and show in picture but it’s so tiny. The shape of the bottle is unique.
