Small, essentially square decanter with sweet gold liner painting. Used for spirits, scents, or oils, this is a lovely marked, antique decanter or bottle is in very good condition. Th is square decanter has a flaired collar and proportionate neck that slopes slightly to rounded corners. A simple circular line is painted around the neck. This is a stunning 6 piece decanter set. The whole set is made of amber glass that has been hand blown and then cut with a hummingbird and fl oral pattern of roses. The b ottom of the large piece has been polished where the pontil mark was a nd the stopper was as well. The decanter has an applied amber glass handle. This set comes with FIVE matching wine glasses cut with the same pattern. The height of the decanter measures 15.5 inches tall and the height of the wine stems measures 5.75 inches tall. The design appears to have some needle etching and hand-wheel grinding in a sort of daisy floral pattern. When I first saw pieces like this, I could only think of it as"wavy glass" because I hadn't yet learned what that means in terms of art glass. Upon research I learned that this kind of glass is an antique form of early art glass production. Antique/Vintage Hobnail Glass Decanter. About 7" tall and 3 1/2" across. Pontil mark on bottom. Very Clear. Very thick Glass. Weighs over a pound. Has a chip on the bottom edge as shown in the fourth picture. Stopper has a chip in the bottom of it. Don't know if it's supposed to be there or not. In a couple of pictures it looks like there is a crack in the top of the decanter but it's just the pattern from the other side of the bottle. This is a very pretty. Very cool piece.

ANTIQUE DANISH ARTS & CRAFTS DECANTER hand blown glass Copper & PEWTER OVERLAY
This was found at a high-end estate auction. Here is a stunning vintage Arts& Crafts style decanter made with hand blown pinched glass. The shoulders of this decanter are decorated with an amazing overlay in copper(my guess is copper. See photos) in a leaf design that is VERY arts and crafts style. The copper is accented on each of the four corners with"berries" of(probably) pewter. The round head of the ground glass stopper is also overlaid in copper, and DENMARK is embossed in this area. This artistic piece is rare. Unusual, and totally a show-stopper. The condition is excellent, no cracks or chips or dents or problems. I have left the metal as I found it, with its natural patina, the buyer can polish or clean as desired. 11-3/4" tall with stopper in place. The base is about 3-1/8" square.

Vintage Antique blown glass decanter & 6 glasses - red gold - etched - stunning!
Stunning blown glass decanter with 6 matching glasses. These are hand painted red with gold trim and the flowers. Stems, and leaves are etched out. Not sure exactly how old the set is but I'm 35 and they purchased them way before I was born. These were my grandparents and I inherited the set about 16 years ago. I think they are incredibly beautiful but I have kept them packed up this whole time due to raising children and not having a safe spot to put them. We are downsizing soon. So I figured I would post some of the items I have had packed away and hopefully someone will have a place for them to be displayed instead of being packed up. This is an Antique Hand Blown Light Purple Glass Decanter/Bottle that has Raised letters on the glass on the base PATD April 21st 1896. You can tell by the Craftsmanship that this is a Very old Bottle and was Hand Blown as there are bubbles in the glass and at the top. The lip is uneven. There are no other marks on the bottle and I am unclear of what it's original use was for. I am guessing maybe perfume or Lavender water? It seems kind of small for a whiskey bottle, but it could have been. Due to this I do not know where it was made either. Maybe French or English? It measures aprox 8 3/4" tall and 2 3/8" square at the base. In Wonderful Vintage condition with minor scratches and imperfections in the glass. But no Breaks, Chips or Cracks. Antique Very Old Etched Wine Decanter Bottle with Stopper Blown Glass Pontil
I'm pretty sure this decanter is over 200 years old. I am not for certain. But I have seen decanters with this same pattern and style in books and on the internet claiming to be this old. The item is not in great condition, but it's in decent condition. The only chips on the stopper are on the underside of the patterning. There are two sizable chips, but they are not readily noticeable until close observation since they are underneath the stopper patterning. The top ring of the three rings on the neck is damaged. There is about a 1/2" piece that is no longer present. The other rings appear to be in good condition. The inside is somewhat dirty and could use a cleaning, but there isn't much haze, just some build up. I do not detect any flea bites in the body. The body does have bubbles and inclusions. They are minimal and sparsely ... morescattered. The etched pattern is of grapes and leaves. There is also a vertical patterning running along the base. The base has a star pattern with a pontil in the middle. It has ample base wear. I do not detect much damage on the base, if any at all. This 19 th Century Carafe or Decanter has engraved grapevines and leaves design and is from a NEWPORT. RHODE ISLAND estate. This decanter is either Georgian English or American and dates from the 1800's. It measures approximately 7 ½ inches high. The base measures 4 3/4 inches in diameter. It has the initials"P.C. engraved on it which stands for Peleg Clarke. A descendant of Jeremiah Clarke, was one the the eight founders of Newport. Rhode Island in 1639 and owned large tracts of land in Newport, Rhode Island. He was the President of the Colony of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations. Antique Boston & SANDWICH GLASS CO ROMAN KEY & STAR BLOWN ENGRAVED DECANTER
This is another item in the box I took out of the archives. A circa 1880 Blown and polished pontil glass decanter. This has the Roman Key(we called it the Greek Key) and Star pattern. It is a lovely piece about 10 1/2 Inches in Height INcluding original stopper. Which is a rarity in itself as they usually are broken and or lost, but as yo can see the stopper also has the star engraving. No chips or cracks,roughage of course on edge of stopper and on pontil. RARE ANTIQUE FOREST GREEN MOLD BLOWN GLASS DECANTER GILT VICTORIAN EAPG ELEGANT
An unusual antique forest green pressed glass decanter with original stopper. I don't know the pattern or maker. But I'm sure it is rare. I would put it's age right around 1900, so possibly it is Victorian EAPG glass or possibly elegant era. It reminds me of early Fostoria and Heisey. The motif features clubs, acanthus leaves and ocean wave scrolls at the base. Motif has Greek and Gothic elements. Gold highlights around the raised decoration. The decanter is in good condition for its age with a heat check on the body of the neck behind where the upper part of the handle is applied. No other chips or cracks. There is a very shallow open bubble near the rim- this is very minor and in the making. Minor wear throughout to the gilt decoration commensurate with age. The inside of the stopper is cloudy but I suppose this is in the making ... moreas there is no way to access the inside of the stopper- it has a closed bottom. Antique hand Blown Pressed Glass Decanter,Mid to late 1800's
This Lovely Pressed Glass(hand blown into a mold) Decanter is from the mid 1800's. It belonged to my Great-Grandmother. It sat on the mantel as long as I can remember. It stands 12" tall. With the stopper and it is 4" wide. The decanter is in super shape. No chips or cracks. It is quite heavy. 3lbs. 11 oz. The glass is a little cloudy at the bottom from years of use. Maybe this can be cleaned out. I have not tried. And I will leave that to the new owner. It would make a special addition to any collection.

I know a little bit about glass but this bottle has me stumped. The lid has a fruit finial. But this doesn't look or feel like Italian glass. There are lots of imperfections and pieces of soot in the glass, which makes me think it's English or American. Look at the line of soot under the finial. Lovely controlled bubbles. When you're handling the bottle it feels like the maker intended the lid to be used as a little'nipper' cup, it sits in your hand very well. Antique or vintage blown glass decanter set made in Italy. Pictures turned out dark for some reason. Amber what I call cut glass with the criss cross pattern though I am not sure this is the correct term for this. Exact age is unknown. Areas show where the glass dripped a bit see photos. Flaws are the crack in the plastic end of the stopper which makes it hard to fit in the decanter hole. See photo. And one of the glasses is cracked and has a chip. Not usable but included anyway. No other cracks or chips. Glasses measure about 2 inches tall with the opening in the top about 2 inches also. Decanter measures about 6 3/4 inch tall and about the same wide. This hand blown decanter measures 9 1/2" high(with stopper) and has hand engraved panels along bottom and oval shaped panels along the shoulder. The central area has a copper wheel engraved script with the word"RUM" engraved in center and the base has a polished pontil mark. Also of note. The stopper is original and fits tightly and is also hand blown and engraved with fluted facets. This hand blown bottle dates to the second half of the 19th century or earlier. Early Antique Hand Blown Clear Glass Decanter Connecticut Family History Old
My mom has a house full of antiques and she has begun to dig through some closets and pull out various choice smalls that she has picked up in her travels over the years. Listing 3 lots from her collection just now. This auction is for a very nice Early Antique Hand Blown Clear Glass Decanter. It measures approx. 10" tall x 4" diameter at the base. Has the original glass stopper. Lots of edge wear on the base just like you would expect from a bottle from the early 1800s. My mom acquired this out of a home in Vermont many years ago. There is a sticker on the base that reads"Brought from Conn. to Tolland by Ursula Durand Ferrer" the text is somewhat hard to read so the family name may be misspelled and I'm not certain that it says"Tolland" but it certainly looks like that. Also inside the bottle when purchased ... morewas a note that reads"Decanter that my great grandmother- Ursula Durand Ferrer brought with her from Connecticut to Ohio when the family migrated in 18" There appears to be a couple numbers after"18" But they're illegible. Underneath that it's signed"Clara Alexander Wright" On the reverse of the note it says"Given me in 1918 by my mother Martha Durand Wright Alexandra" Condition is excellent with no chips, cracks or breaks. There is some scotch tape residue around the top lip of the bottom which my mom placed there to assure the stopper did not fall out of the decanter when handled. Excellent early decanter. NO RESERVE! This is a beautiful old bottle-shaped decanter. Approximately 11 1/2" tall with stopper, up to 4" wide at the base. Clear blown glass with a polished pontil mark. The decanter has several bands of cut designs. Including swags, leaves and small flowers with a matching design on the flattened beveled stopper. It appears that the designs were once accented with gold, however most of the gold has been worn off. Ground stopper and inside neck. No manufacturer's marks. Presumably 19th century. In good condition. However, there is a repair to the rim(see close-up picture) The glass has some minor flaws as common with old blown pieces. Antique Hand Blown VICTORIAN CRANBERRY GLASS DECANTER/ JUG WITH STOPPER Just one being sold here although we have two that we are listing. This one is a darker cranberry and has 16 rays cut into the star on the bottom covering the pontil. The stoppers are original on both and they both have a twisted clear glass applied handle. About 9 1/2" overall. NOTE: Almost all the items we sell are vintage or antique and have seen decades of use. Please expect a base line of wear. Also.
