Size is 6-inches long. 9 1/2 inches tall. x 4-inches wide Found in a trunk with other amazing Rare Antiques. Description: An outstanding antique French sterling silver& cut crystal 7-piece liquor set. Comprising of six cordial glasses and a stoppered decanter. The sterling mounts feature an ornate repousse floral and lattice motif. The crystal is decorated with deeply cut punties and circled by a pattern of diamond points with deep wheel cut paneling adorning the decanter. In overall very good condition, no chips or cracks to the crystal glass. Bearing the French Minerve 1st hallmark, which depicts the head of the goddess Minerva with a number 1 beside her to denote a silver content of.950/1000. That's 95% pure silver and a higher grade of finesse than the standard.925 sterling. Also bearing maker's marks for Parisian silversmith Henri Lapeyre, active from 1895-1923, whose workshop was located at 49 rue Meslay in Paris. Description This is a beautiful vintage Italian glass decanter. I'm not an expert on glass but it appears to have been blown into a mold. I was told by some that this may be early 20th century. But I suspect it may be more from the 50s or 60s, but that's purely a guess. The bottom of the bottle is marked only"Italy" and"8" with no other indications of date. Description This is a 9 pc set including stopper. Unfortunately the decanter has a rectangular shaped crack in the top that I did not notice until I cleaned it. It is difficult to see while displayed and the crack is sturdy. There is also a small crack in one of the glasses. The stopper and the other 6 classes are in excellent condition. There are no markings on this set. I believe it is from the mid 19th century American. All of the bottoms are polished and are very thick. The decanter alone weighs 30.30 ounces and the glasses are about 3 ounces each. All of the glass is hand moulded or blown. The decanter with stopper measures 9 1/8" tall and each Glass measures just under 2 1/2" high. Only 3 of the glasses are blue. Presented for your review is a fine English tantalus cabinet made of solid oak wood in the 19th century. Comes complete with original metal adornments. Working lock and key, and three original cut-glass crystal decanters. key may not be original) The three decanter bottles with beveled crystal stoppers are typically meant to hold Gin, Sherry and Brandy and are in very fine condition. The oak cabinet is also well-preserved, with a lovely patina, age-appropriate wear including a few cracks and splits. It is sturdy and effectively prevents the bottles from coming out of their docks when the unit is closed. The cabinet is embellished with nailed plated-metal details to reinforce and adorn it. The wear on the metal accents give the tantalus a distressed look with lots of aesthetic appeal. There are also cast iron handles on either side of the ... morecaddy to add a rugged security look. The release for the lower hidden cabinet is located right in front of the center decanter when the unit is opened. I have seen cabinets like this one stocked with a miniature compendium of games. Up for bids is this Antique Late 19thC Victorian Spelter Roses& Ladder Liquor Decanter Holder. This liquor decanter holder was made in the late 19thC and was used to hold a decanter and 6 cordial glasses would hang from the side. This piece is almost in the form of a trellis with a ladder leaning up against it and roses and leaves all over it. This piece has all of its original paint. The entire piece is gold beside the roses petals which are red and the leaves which are green. The part that would hold the decanters base is mirrored that has lost some of its silvering. This piece is in excellent condition with no breaks or repairs. This piece stands 14 3/4" in height. 8 7/8" in width, and 6" in depth. Antique Ruby Red Liquor Decanter With Cut Floral Designs c.1890 ?
A very old ruby red glass decanter my guess. Late 1890s to early 1900s. The decanter stands 8 1/4 inches high and 3 3/4 inches across each side. There are swirl marks in the base of the glass, but it seems to have been cast in a mold because you can see ribs in the glass at the corners! Two sides have a floral design cut into the glass. The red color on the stopper goes from red to clear! Very heavy, it weighs over 3 pounds! I have owned it for over 35 years, it was given to me as a gift while visiting friends in Newport RI in the late 1970s. It came from a fantastic collection of old ruby red glass pieces. Antique Handmade Art Nouveau Deco Copper Cut Glass Bottle RARE Liquor Decanter
For your consideration. An incredible vintage/antique piece of Mexican art glass with a cut and carved copper wrap. This is a one of a kind piece. It is absolutely beautiful. It measures 6" to the top of the copper wrap, 7.5" to the top of the bottle, and 3.75" square. The bottle underneath is a vintage or antique cut glass bottle. The diamond shaped cuts are up all 4 sides, and border the bottom of the bottle. It looks like a late 19th century/ early 20th century bottle. One of the four glass panels has an oval of uncut, clear glass where perhaps a label once went. I consider this the front of the bottle. Wrapped around this thick, heavy, glass bottle is a truly incredible solid copper wrap that has been hand cut, and hand carved, or engraved. The pattern is Art Nouveau natural floral forms, with vines, leaves, and flowers. ... moreThe pattern, while the same picture on all four sides, is nonetheless completely hand made as evidenced by the variations in the cuts from one side to the next. The copper wrap stops at the base of the neck of the bottle, and folds over the bottom of the bottle about 1/3" The bottle does NOT come out in any way that I can manage. The mouth of the bottle is 2.25" in diameter, and would look perfect with either a cork made to fit, or a cut glass or colored glass stopper. I would be tempted to have a local glass artist make a dichroic glass stopper for this exquisite bottle. The only marks are a C on the bottom of the glass bottle, and"Hecho En Mexico" imprinted into the copper where it folds over the bottom of the glass. This piece is rare, and an amazing piece of art in both the glass and copper. I have never seen one like this before, although there are many in silver from that time period. I have up for sale a beautiful vintage circa 190s or there abouts Legras Mont Joye Enameled French Art Glass Decanter bottle. The enamel work is amazing. Featuring what appears to be a woman from the 1890s- Gay 90s- in a Vaudeville type act. The stopper is missing as you can see. The piece stands approx 11-1/2" tall with roughly a 3-1/2" base diameter. The decanter has the words CAKE WALK printed to the left figure of the woman. Although unsigned the decanter is documented as made by Legras. I lost my backround material.So I can not give any further backround but the piece is with out question made by Legras. Retains hand blown, hollow inside stopper, topped by a gilded star. Marked on the base of the stopper with the number VIIII, corresponding with the same number on the decanter base. Description: An antique 19th century Bohemian liquor set comprising of a stoppered decanter and a pair of cordial glasses. The stemware is decorated in rich gold gilding and impasto raised enameling. Attributed to Moser. c. 1860. Of quality hand made mouth-blown clear glass. Richly hand painted in thickly applied raised enamel, with a layer of gold gilt fired over the enameling. A tedious process full of volatility for the finished result, a lost art. Patterned with flowers and leaves and geometric forms. The cordial glasses feature slender stems of clear glass, the bases circled by a border of gold dotted or'jeweled' with raised white enamel accents. Unique form to the decanter, the mouth flared and ruffled at the edge, terminating to a long slender neck flaring outward at the shoulders to a rounded body. Antique English Oak 3 Bottle Decanter Liquor Set Tantalus
Here is a set of three matching decanters in their original fitted carrying rack. With working lock mechanism. These are a great way to add a flair of luxury to entertaining. The wood tantalus was designed to keep the servants from stealing liquor. It measures 17 1/2" wide and 6" deep at the base and not counting the handle it is 11" tall. Age appropriate wear and patina, some oxidation, some breaks and bends in the metal ornamentation. The decanters are cut and polished at the rims and bases, possible some small flecks on the bases but could be the cuts, a fleck here and there to the high points of the bottles and stoppers but nothing that stands out, and one stop has chips on the inserted end. A little sediment in the bottles, again nothing significant. The decanters are 8 3/4" tall including the stoppers and about 3 ... more1/4" wide. Antique French Saint Louis Crystal Gilded Liquor Serving Set: Decanter & Cordial
Description: An antique French Saint Louis crystal liquor service. Circa 1908. Comprising of a stoppered liquor decanter and six cordial or shot glasses. The exquisite set is of the finest quality crystal, engraved and gilded with heavy floral decoration comprising of scrolling foliate, lattice and sinuous vines. This model and pattern is illustrated in the Saint Louis catalog for 1908, page 40. The decanter features a ruffled rim, edged in gilding, terminating to a slender neck with flared body. Retains the faceted cut stopper, topped by a gilded star. Marked on the base of the stopper with the number 107, corresponding with the matching number on the mouth of the decanter. These pieces are unmarked, made prior to the acid etched mark first used by the firm in 1936. Like Baccarat, the Saint Louis cristallerie marked their wares with a paper ... morelabel prior to their acid etched branding and these old paper labels were often lost, washed away or worn with time.
