ANTIQUE 19TH CENTURY BOSTON & SANDWICH GLASS COMPANY DECANTER ROMAN KEY & STAR
ANTIQUE 19TH CENTURY BOSTON& SANDWICH GLASS COMPANY DECANTER ROMAN KEY& STAR This auction is for a wonderful 19th century glass decanter. I believe this glass piece was made by the well known& respected Boston& Sandwich Glass Company. The pattern name is Engraved Roman Key& Star. This decanter without the stopper measures 8-1/2" high. The stopper that is in the decanter is NOT original to the decanter& it does not fit properly but that is what I have used& am selling with this decanter. This stopper is elegant& it is 3-3/4" long. This stopper has a 6 cut& polished'petal' like decoration on the top. The underside of the bottom of the decanter shows nice wear and it also has a lovely polished pontil. There is some minor white staining on the inside bottom. On the images the outside wear ... moreon the bottom appears to be a stain on the inside but it is not. The engraved Roman Key& Star pattern is around the bulbous part of the decanter and above that is an elegant 8 panel design that narrows up the neck forming another beautiful cut design on the upper neck of this treasure! The decanter has been used and enjoyed& it does have some minor wear& dings but it's over 100 years old& still deserves to be seen& admired& used too! FOUR ANTIQUE 19TH CENTURY DECANTERS TANTALUS BOTTLES BARWARE NO RESERVE
THIS SET OF BOTTLES ORIGINALLY CAME OUT OF A TANTALUS. THEY WERE LOST AND THE BOX WAS SOLD THEN THE BOTTLES WERE FOUND. THEY ARE FROM THE MID 19TH CENTURY WITH ETCHED DECORATION. THESE BOTTLES ARE ALL HANDBLOWN WITH A LARGE GROUND PONTLE. EACH STOPPER IS MARKED ON THE UNDERSIDE AND EACH BOTTLE HAS A CORRESPONDING MARK ON THE THROAT. THE STOPPERS ARE HOLLOW WHICH I THINK IS UNUSUAL. AS YOU CAN SEE THERE IS SOME RESIDUE IN SOME OF THE BOTTLES BUT THEY ARE NOT CHIPPED OR CRACKED AT ALL. IF YOU HAVE A TANTALUS IN NEED OF BOTTLES THESE ARE WHAT YOU HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR. NO MAKERS MARK BUT VERY HIGH QUALITY. MEASURES 7 7/8 INCHES TALL AND 2 1/4 INCHES ACROSS THE BASE
Authentic Late 18th Early 19th Century English Empire Decanter CutGlass Crystal
Authentic Late 18th Early 19th Century English Irish Waterford? Empire Decanter Cut Glass Crystal This is guaranteed to be an early 19th century cut crystal decanter. I am guessing Irish because it has some very distinctly Waterford cuts like Lisemore of the later incarnation of the factory. Since the early Waterford was rarely signed, I an not attribute this but it is certainly a very good quality early piece. It has all the hallmarks of a very good early piece with wear to the base, and excellent faceted cuts. There is no stopper with the decanter. The decanter stands 7.5" tall and looks to hold maybe 16 oz or so. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or problems of any sort. Please see all of the photos. You should own this if you collect seriously and want authentic to dispense whatever you like. My friend is a very ... moreknowledgeable antique dealer who has a large inventory of early American/ English glass. He is downsizing and said to start everything at 99 cents. There will be some huge bargains in the next few weeks. There are lots of photos to show you every exquisite detail so please examine carefully. The photographs are of the actual item and represent not retouched photos that I have taken myself. The colors are never exact but they are as close to the actual color of the item as I take the photos in natural light. This is carefully packed to insure a safe delivery. I do not charge for packing. Shipping is calculated as stated in the listing. I ship only in continental US. Please Paypal at the end of the auction the exact amount of the invoice. Notify me if you have any questions prior to bidding. I accept returns only in the event of gross misrepresentation of items. This item is very accurately photographed and described and is the exact piece you will receive.

19th Century Mercury Glass Decanter With Etching
This is a lovely late 19th century mercury glass decanter with stopper. The bulbous base has etched florals on each side. Not sure but the leaves look like gingko to my untrained eye. The decanter is in mint condition. There are no cracks or chips of any kind. The mercury has overall age spotting that only adds to its appeal. The decanter stands 11 inches tall with the stopper and 9 inches tall with out. It is 7 inches at the widest. Stopper is 2.75 inches wide and 3.75 inches long. Antique 19th Century 3 Ring Decanter Pressed Mushroom Stopper Cut Crystal Glass
This lovely Three Ring Decanter measures about 12" tall with the stopper in. The woman whom I received this decanter told me that it was her great great grandfathers and dated back to the late 1800s. I don't know anything about old glass so I will leave that up to you. The decanter has a cut cross hatch pineapple pattern(which looks like a pineapple) on opposite sides of the decanter. It also has cut and etched flowers on opposing sides. The neck has 3 ring grips and the lowest of the 3 is faceted. I am not sure if the mushroom stopper was original to the piece as there is a very small amount of"wiggle" when placed in the decanter. And the cut design on the stopper has more lines than the bottom of the decanter. The stopper does form a tight enough seal to prevent leaking so perhaps they are original to each other.but I ... morecannot be sure. Either way they go together quite well. The decanter is in great overall condition considering its age. But there are some imperfections. There is a very small chip on the inside edge of the lip of the decanter that is slightly more than 1/16" across. There are also some fleabites to the bottom of the stopper. I tried to photo them as best I could) Shipping rates are for continental USA only. Outside the lower 48 states please contact us for shipping cost. We do our best to ship out items within 24 hours of receiving payment. So we ask that winning bidders to make payment within 3 days of winning an item. If for some reason more time is needed, then we ask our customers to notify us as to when you can make payment, and we will do our best to accommodate their needs. Thank you
MATCHING PR. ANTIQUE 19TH CENTURY HAND BLOWN TRIPLE DOLPHIN DECANTERS
This sale is for a beautiful rare matching pair of 19th century hand blown triple dolphin base decanters. They stand 12 1/2" tall and measures approx. 4 1/2" across the base. The heavy thick glass shows air bubbles and imperfections associated with age. The figural bases show three naval dolphins holding the decanter between their tails. They were blown in a three piece mould. This would be a perfect bar accessory for a nautical décor or man cave. At some point holes were drilled in the bases. Probably to facilitate wiring for a lamp so these would need to be plugged in order to put them back in service as decanters or they could be used as decorator items just as they are.
Elegant Pair Early Cut Glass Decanters 19th Century
Stylish and Elegant Pair of 19th Century Decanters. Brilliant cut crystal this pair sparkles. Always a pair. These two show minor size discrepancies inherent in hand made items. They measure 13.25" and 12.75" high with a base diameter of 3.5" They have stood the test of time very well with only a couple difficult to find nipped points on the body of the decanters. Minor sediment on bottom that I have not tried to clean. Please ask questions or offer opinions. Beautiful Glass.

Late 19th Century Cut Glass Decanter Set w/ Silverplate Stand Etched Dots & Star
Late 19 th Century Cut Glass Decanter Set w/ Silverplate Stand This is a beautiful English Cut Glass Decanter Set with Silver Plated Stand. The base has a geometric swirling shape around the bottom of the piece that holds the decanters. The handle has a scroll detail at the base of the oval handle. The Decanters are cut and etched glass with an awesome geometric pattern with stars etched in the open spaces. There is a line of cut ovals around top of the geometric pattern. The stoppers are all cut at the top and base and have a dot design etched in between two cut lines in the middles. Dimensions: Frame is approximately 15” tall and 7 ¼” at widest part. The 3 decanters are approximately 8 ½” tall from base to top of spout. With the stopper two are 11 ½” tall and one is 12” tall. They are 3 ¾” wide at widest part. Frame ... moreis etched with“S.E.W M.O.O 01” on the stand from a previous repair. Condition: This is an antique piece and does show wear commensurate with use. The stand is in good estate condition with very minor wear to the silver plating. This piece appears to have been repaired at some point as one section has been re- soldered. Two of the decanters have“4” etched into the glass around the spout and the other has“3” on it. Two of the stoppers have chips to the bottom and tops but not very noticeable unless really looking. All the stoppers have a few small flea bites and scratches also. One of the stoppers is a little bit thinner at the base. Since they were handmade, which is the reason it is taller than the others. The decanters are in great estate condition with just some flea bites around bottom of base and some manufactures flows as small bubbles throughout. These pieces may not have come as a set originally but are beautiful together and would make a great addition to any table or bar. Please see photos for more detail and to determine overall condition. C8*Please ask any questions before you place your bid. We will answer your emails within 24-36 hours* Thank you for looking! Pottery and glass items: REALLY unusual/rare and lovely pieces! This is a handmade, 19th century hand-etched decanter featuring birds, ... moreleaves and vines as well as an repeating etched oval pattern on it's matching stopper. I've photographed the neck of the bottle to show the waviness of the glass, as well as a ridge where the body begins to taper into the neck of the bottle. The beautiful hand etching featuring birds and vines was popular in the second half of the 19th century, and was also found on the souvenir glass jewelry caskets of that time period. This particular design of the body being"pinched" into 4 tubular chambers was referred to as a"glug-glug" decanter. This particular example is quite old, in excellent condition with no chips or cracks found. It does have residue inside, undoubtedly from being used, which could be washed out. The bottle itself measures about 8.25" tall at the lip, 10.5" tall with the stopper. The base is about 2.75" square. Please ask any questions!

Later, around 1839, Regout contracted foreign glass blowers from Italy, Germany and France to produce the company's ... moreown glass. Petrus Regout& Co became the largest dutch glass producer in the second half of the 19th century. A catalogue of 1880 shows 32 different services which were made by the factory: large. Ornamental pieces in clear glass, but also decanters and wine glasses with colored overlays. The Maastricht factory also produced pressed glass items, long before its dutch competitor Royal Leerdam started to use this technique for the production of its household services. In 1899 the company changed name to De Sphinx. One of Petrus' sons. Louis Regout, started his own glassworks in 1902, called Stella. Both companies got into financial troubles after World War I and decided to merge in 1925 under the name of Kristalunie Maastricht. The new company suffered from competition of the much cheaper bohemian cut crystal. Around 1928 Kristalunie Maastricht changed its course by hiring skilled glass designers and started to produce glass items with a more artistic approach. Graphic designer W.J. Rozendaal was the first to change the face of Maastricht glass by making more modern. Stylish designs. Another famous designer, that followed in Rozendaal's footsteps, was Max Verb
