Antique Meiji Period Japanese Bronze Figural Urn Vase Grape Leaves Vines Old This auction listing is for a Japanese Meiji period bronze vase. It is urn shaped. And footed. It has applied grapes, vines and leaves and appears organic in nature. There are overall spots of discoloration where the vase has oxidized, not unsightly, normal for age. It also has a very shallow dent under bottom of single applied leaf. You can see it in first picture. Other than these, no damage or repairs. The vase is substantial and heavy for its size, it measures 8 3/8" tall by app. 4 1/2" across widest part of body with a 2 1/8" diameter across opening. Some of the pictures make it look like it flairs out at the top a bit, it does so very slightly almost unnoticibly, its shape shows best in the first picture. ANTIQUE VICTORIAN LARGE ELKINGTON SILVER ELECTRO PLATED CENTRE PIECE GRAPE VINES
A large and impressive Victorian electro plated Centre Piece. Very ornate and beautifully designed with twisted fruiting vines from the top to bottom. The base is equally as ornate with three raised"feet" and bunches of grapes& foliage all round. Size; Approx 29cms height. Diameter of base approx 17.5cms. Weight: 1.325kgs. Condition: Very good. There is minimal wear to the silver plating which is commensurate and to be expected with age. A slight break in two of the thin leaf stems which really is barely noticeable(took me ages to notice myself) and does not detract in any way. Would probably polish up but that is a personal choice. Date: C1862 Marks: Hallmark to the base. Maker E& Co in shield(slightly rubbed) plus other marks including letter x which I believe is the date letter for 1862. Antique 15.5" Bohemian Cranberry& Frosted Etched Glass Decanter w Grape Vines Up for sale is a lovely antique Bohemian cranberry glass decanter with frosted. Etched grape vines and leaves. With the stopper it's 15.5" tall. Without the stopper it is approx. 12.5" As in photo#5 the stopper has been broken off with the end stuck inside the bottle. It can be glued to look fine, but you wouldn't be able to use it without unsticking the other end. Otherwise, as in photo#6 there's a chip on the lip. The bottom of the decanter bottle is 3" in diameter. I purchased this at an estate auction and am uncertain of its exact age but it could be as old as 19th century. Pretty shades of blue grape clusters with green grape vine leaves and tendrils that border the edge and a second border near the center of this GREAT 52"X 45" tablecloth. Not sure of the fabric. A fantastically showy centrepiece. Created from a silver plated base and custom made cut glass bowl that sits into the stand. The glass is beautifully shaped with a terminal on the underside which sits into the center of the stand. The naturalistic stand has three arms which cradles the glass, the arms ensconced with grapevines. Dating to the late Victorian or Edwardian era, around 1900, it remains in superb condition. RARE depression glass amethyst purple EAPG bowl grape leaves vines reticulated
A stunning EAPG amethyst or purple pressed glass bowl with open edges at each corner made to look like realistic vines and thorns. Grape leaves are pressed into the sides and the bottom of the outside of the bowl. The bowl measures 10" X 10" and the sides are 2 1/2" high. The base of the bowl is 7 1/2" X 7 1/2" and has a 1/2" lip. It is in very fine condition. Several teeny. Tiny fleas on the edge of the bowl- very difficult to see. This will make an exquisite cabinet display. And will become the highlight of your amethyst depression glass collection.

Here we have for your consideration is this early satin glass jar. It is footed. Cylindrical, stands 5" tall. It has a beaded or hobnail edges& a grape vine pattern. It could be a covered sugar or compote with the lid. It has an open pontil& no hallmarks. It could be westmoreland or possibly an early fenton piece. In this listing we are offering a 19th century pottery vase with an octagon shaped base. The urn has a grape vines all over it which are covered in a silver luster type glaze. The urn has a raised applied maker's marking underneath. The marking has a crown on the top. There are several letters on the marking which may possibly be"U B S M" But. We are not certain. We are not at all familiar with this specific type of pottery. We believe that it is 19th century& that it is English. But. We are not certain. We would say that this urn may possibly have been made by Wedgewood? But, some other company may have made it. We think that it may have what is considered a basalt type glaze? VINTAGE MAJOLICA PITCHER WITH GRAPE VINES
This vintage Majolica pitcher has a wonderful pattern of grapes hanging around the entire pitcher. The pitcher was formed in the shape of a tree trunk. The applied handle looks like a tree branch. There is an unglazed section around the bottom of the pitcher. This p itcher was made in the mid 1800's. There is some discoloration around the bottom section of the pitcher. And there is crazing inside the top and along the applied handle. There are no chips or cracks in or on the pitcher. The only marks on the bottom of the pitcher are two 3/4" parallel and a green line on the base of the pitcher. This piece is not a reproduction. It is a genuine Majolica pitcher. It's 11.5" tall and 3.5" in diameter at the beveled. Scalloped lip. It's decorated with bunches of grapes and grape vines. The thinnest part of the neck is notched on 4 sides. The rim lip is sharp and the only flaws are 2 tiny fleabites on the inside edge of that sharp rim. Photo#6 is a close-up of the rim-what I'm describing is extremely small and likely unnoticeable in the photo. Otherwise this is in excellent condition. I purchased this at an estate auction and am uncertain of its age but believe it to be several years old. This is perfect to turn your favorite or mismatched antique candle holder into a vase. Consisting of a cup, saucer and bread and butter plate on the elegant Gainsborugh shape, was manufactured by the Shelley Pottery in King Street, Fenton, Staffordshire. The pattern number is 11709 and the backstamp is the Shelley. All three pieces are in excellent antique condition(not new) Being free from cracks, chips or crazing, and the gilding is intact. The condition is Excellent vintage(not new) As it is free from chips, cracks and crazing. It is normal tea size. I.e the Cup stands 6.25cms tall, the Saucer is 14.5cms across and the plate is 17.5cms in diameter. Description Two vintage Chinese soap stone carvings of Grape vines for auction. The vines are hand carved from greenish-yellow soapstone on bases of brown soap stone. With great detail. I been told these date to the earlier part of the 20th century. See picture for condition and description as I'm no expert on soap stone. I see one minor chip on the taller one. But is not very noticeable and does not affect its durability green-yellow soapstone is glued to the brown soapstone on both pieces. Neither one has an artist signature. Here are four magnificent earthenware plates from Davenport in Longport. Staffordshire, England. These plates are in excellent virtually unused condition. With no chips, scratches, cracks or wear. The border design is grape vines in a bright blue enhanced by hand painted gold. As you can see in the photos the plates have both an inner narrow gold ring and an outer wider gold hand painted border. Each plate measures approximately 10¼ inches in diameter.
