Offered here is a silver Georgian 18 century George III cut out port decanter label. The label is decorated with a panther head at the center top and ... moregrape bunches and leaves around the central port cut out. The reverse has 5 stamps, the third and fifth, from left to right mostly obscured, but probably the lion passant English sterling stamp and the crowned panther head mark for London. The maker mark, WE, is probably William Eaton. The kings head profile duty mark is the next stamp. The fourth stamp is the year mark, l, for 1786-87. The label is around 2” at its widest and 1 1/2” high. It was around 1/2 ounce. The label is in excellent antique condition but perhaps needs a polishing.

For sale is a beautiful pair of paneled crystal decanters with etched grapes. Each bottle has 10 panels. The grape and leaf decorations go all the way around. One decanter is missing it's original stopper, it has a cut glass replacement. Both piece are in relatively good condition, one has a small chip on the base edge and also has some spotting on the interior. The other has a small chip at the top of the stopper and some slight cloudiness at the base. Each measures 9 1/4" tall to top of lip. Each has a polished base with a ground pontil mark. VTG CUT CRYSTAL GLASS SHIPS DECANTER SUNFLOWER PLUS
Up for auction a beautiful cut crystal glass ship's decanter for your collection. I don't know the maker or the pattern. I have put sunflower Plus in the title since the one pattern looks like a sunflower to me. The other circle pattern looks like raised diamond cut blocks with four of those blocks topped with tiny pebble top. The base rim of the decanter has a row of what looks like a thumbprint design that goes completely around the decanter. The neck of the decanter has indented columns that start with a thumbprint at the base of the stem and extends to the top. Smoothing out as it reaches the top lip. The stopper is hexagon shaped and has a very shallow chip at the top edge. The decanter stands about 11" tall to the top of the stopper and is about 7" across the bottom. This is a matched pair but there are some slight differences. One decanter stands 9.25" the other is 9 3/16" without tops. They are 8.25" and 8 1/16" One is 4 1/16" across the bottom and the other is 4 3/16" One bottle has a flake chip on the bottom rim as shown. Same one that has a bubble in the bottom as shown. It also has two flakes on the mushroom top on two points of the edge. The other bottle has a couple of small nicks in the horizontal ribbing on the top as shown. There are several of the diamond points on each bottle that have pinhead chips on their points. The only damage that shows without inspecting them is the chip on the bottom rim. This is an original early 19th century handblown decanter. Possibly American. Clear in color. Has an overall height(with the stopper) of 11" The lip has diameter of 1 7/8" the inner rim has a diameter of 7/8" The body has a diameter of 4 1/2" at the widest point. The base pontil is mostly polished being a bit rough around the edges. The stopper pontil is rough. Pleasant etched vine and grapes pattern present on both the decanter and stopper. Antique Glass Decanter. This is a beautiful old decanter but sadly. It has a residue on inside that I cannot remove. I've drive myself crazy trying anything I can think of to get the inside clean but nothing has worked. So I'm selling this'as is' with you having the knowledge that the inside has an awful discoloring. I don't believe the stopper is original to the bottle. Has lots of missing gold around the bottle and top. 8" high and 9 3/4" to top of stopper.

There is flaw but it cannot be felt on either side. The glass is rippled and the bottom has a star cut into the glass. The metal necks have splits on one side. c.1770's-1780's Tapered hand blown Glass Decanter AMELUNG MD ?
This pint size hand blown"tapered" decanter measures 7 1/2" high and has the gradually tapering sides popular during the 1760's-1780's era. Made of non-lead glass and having a slightly grayish hue to the glass. This type of glass and decanter form is attributed to Amelung Glass Works in Maryland. Having a sharp pontil mark on base which also shows loads of high point wear. The irregular shaped lip was seperately applied to the neck of bottle. Fitting into a round flat rim with a panel cut sloping shoulder over a band of diamond cut design. Over two horizontal cut bands and with vertical V cuts on the lower body. The underside polished flat. In good condition with several small chips to the stopper. Some small nicks to the panel cuts and diamond band. A vertical chip to one of the V cuts on the lower section. All of these pieces are in very good condition as I did not see anything wrong with them. The bottom of the decanter is marked Fidenza Italy and the glasses are marked Italy. Set of 5 Venetian/ Murano ruby red art glasses with hand painted gilded colorful flowers. The glasses measure 4 3/4 inches. Diameter of rim is 1 3/4 inches. Each is handpainted with a beautiful flower design in pastel colors. Small gold details all the way around each glass. The decanter is 11" tall with stopper. Great condition without any chips. Cracks or repairs. This is vintage from 50's so there are small imperfections. Small areas gold worn off and a smudge on back of decanter(see photos)
20thc English WEBB Cut Glass 2 DECANTERS & TANTALUS w/Key SIGNED
Offered for your consideration is this handsome English locking tantalus set. The two cut glass decanters were made in the Thomas Webb factory in the first half of the twentieth century. They fit in a mahogany wood tantalus with silverplated fittings. The decanters have a nice crosshatch cut and original faceted stoppers. They are 10 1/4" high and 3 1/2" across at the bases. The bottoms have the acid-etched"Webb England" mark. One of the decanters is excellent with no problems of any kind. The other has a small repair on the rim-fortunately not at all noticeable but see photo to evaluate. The tantalus measures 12 3/4" high and 11" long. It is also in good condition but the wood does need to be refinished. The silver mounts are very nice and marked"P.B. S. Ltd. Made in England" The original locking key ... moreis included. Here is a nice clear flint glass GI-29 1/2 pint decanter or bottle. Blown three piece mold, open pontil base and flared rim. This example has the ringed base. These are circa 1830s, and likely produced at the Boston- Sandwich glass factory, or possible a New York factory. This example has wonderful character with tiny bubbles! Other than a little content residue ring inside, this one is in sparkling mint condition! Description This is a 9 pc set including stopper. Unfortunately the decanter has a rectangular shaped crack in the top that I did not notice until I cleaned it. It is difficult to see while displayed and the crack is sturdy. There is also a small crack in one of the glasses. The stopper and the other 6 classes are in excellent condition. There are no markings on this set. I believe it is from the mid 19th century American. All of the bottoms are polished and are very thick. The decanter alone weighs 30.30 ounces and the glasses are about 3 ounces each. All of the glass is hand moulded or blown. The decanter with stopper measures 9 1/8" tall and each Glass measures just under 2 1/2" high. Only 3 of the glasses are blue. Antique Vaseline Glass Decanter Stopper Glows Under UV~UNIQUE!
I have the exquisitely magnificent stopper.do YOU have the beautiful decanter that misses it? Or are you a collector of rare and beautiful glass? This piece is a fine example of antique vaseline glass. It is referred to as"Canary Yellow" And it is vibrant. The vital statistics are as follows: a tad over 3-1/2" long. A tad over 1-1/2" wide at the widest top, the tapered part that fits the bottle is 1" long, x 1" at the widest top tapering to 3/4" at the bottom. There is a 1" around clear glass round"core" through the top that goes about 1/2" down. This, and the beautiful styling make this a very unique piece. I am hoping I captured these details in the pictures. I have included pictures with, and without the UV blacklight to demonstrate the vibrancy, and authenticity of the glass. There is no wear to the sterling overlay. The bottle is slightly lopsided at the base(base is not completely flat) and lip. This is just how the piece was blown originally. The pin on the bottom recesses and stops the music. Glass decanter has a pour spout when you remove the top. Carrying handle. Glass is very clean and clear. With no chips, cracks or repairs. The metal casing looks like brass, but I don't think it is, not sure what kind of metal it is. Metal shows sign of age and will have splotches, with some areas looking like smudges. Wear of metal in some areas on the handle. I bought this decanter a couple of years ago from the estate of a German couple.
