This piece dates to late 1800s or early 1900s. And is of continental European origin, likely German or Italian. The stand is very ornate, with a handle in the form of a putti playing with a snake and scenes of cherubs playing instruments around the side of each bottle holder. On each side of the stand is a gilded scallop shell form drip catcher, beneath a round slot to hold the stoppers of the cruets while they're in use, very convenient. These drip catchers are removable for ease of cleaning. The stand is on four claw and ball form feet, with fancy shell decorations above. The bottles themselves are beautifully cut, with sparkling faceted stoppers. The majority of the cruet stand is silver, only the plate on the underside is steel, with old hand cut bolt construction. The silver is tested and guaranteed at least 800 purity. This cruet set is in good overall condition. One of the glass bottles has a crack. But is not in any danger of coming apart and is probably even still useable. One of the cherubs is missing his flute. Both cherubs have repairs to one of their arms, which are quite hard to notice. There are no other issues. The stand is about 14 1/4 inches tall at the highest point. The total weight. Not including the glass bottles, is 1041 grams or 36.7 regular ounces. NICE GLASS WINE DECANTER PITCHER CARAFE LARGE BALL STOPPER
Here we have a very nice wine decanter with no apparent chips or other flaws. It is in very good condition with the exception of some wear at the top where the stopper has been used. The wear pretty much disappears when the stopper is inserted. There are no logos or other description on the decanter so I'm assuming it is not crystal. Overall height is almost 14" and the widest part of the bottle is about 6" across. It weighs just over 3 pounds and is really a very nice piece. Up for your consideration we have a vintage art glass liquor decanter or genie bottle. This bottle is made in squared shape and is about 11" tall and 5" wide at the widest area. This bottle has a gold ball cut stopper that has a couple flea bite areas on a few edges. It is in good condition with no other chips or cracks. It is a bit dusty and could use a good cleaning. Vintage Green Glass Spanish Decanter. Beautiful green glass bottle stands 17 3/4" uncorked. And 21" when topped with the green glass ball cork. This large art glass bottle was made in Spain and is in overall good condition, no chips or cracks, bright true color. It does have a few scuffs, what looks like a manufacturing flaw on the rim, and a few bubbles inherent to the glass.

When considering early Federal Period spirits decanters it is rare to find one with such an exaggerated flat and wide diameter base(nearly 1 foot) And this rather unique styled neck– indications that the glass blower was a particular fine craftsman. Now go check out the close-up photo detail of the decanters bottom side- smmoooth ground and polished pontil. Sweet. What a beauty. Dimensions: Crowned ... morewith glass stopper d ecanter stands 9 ¾” tall. 7 ½” without. Base measures a little over 11” across. Weight just over 5 lbs. now that's a lot of glass. Condition: Excellent– No cracks. A single‘fleabite’ to top of decanter rim pointed out in close-up photo. The stopper tends to wiggle in place when moved due to the bowl-style rim at top of neck- in regards to this the decanter was acquired with a white Styrofoam ring(pictured) which a previous owner perhaps fashioned to more safely secure the stopper in place.
