We are delighted to offer this gorgeous and well made Cranberry stained Bohemian Claret Wine Decanter with SIX matching stem glasses. This exquisitely etched European/Bohemian Decanter set is circa 1930s or earlier. The 13.5 inch blown glass bottle has elaborate curlicues around the large Grape Clusters with large detailed Leaves all carefully etched into the deep Cranberry flashing by a master glass artist. The glasses feature a simple classic shape with clear round foot and stem and a good size rounded bowl in Cranberry stain- the etching a perfect match to the bottle. These are unsigned but the high quality. The elaborate curlicues, the rich deep Cranberry that is almost a Ruby tone AND the etched clear ... moredots near the top of the Decanter neck are all indications that this set is European in origin. Antique Cased Glass Decanter~White Overlay Cut To Gold/Amber Bohemian Glass~17"
Up for auction is an antique Bohemian Cased White cut to Yellow Glass Floral Decanter. This is a gorgeous antique cased glass decanter with white overlay glass cut to yellow/gold bohemian glass. The white glass has floral accents along white gold trim and designs. The decanter is large measuring 17” tall with the stopper and 13” without it. The base measures 4 ½” in diameter at the bottom and tapers going upward to 2 ½” where to stopper goes. The decanter has a couple of minor flaws with a chip in the lid where the stopper inserts and a couple of tiny flea bites/dinks in the white glass. All in all. Hello- This is a big decanter. Standing 13" with the stopper on top. The clarity of the glass is incredible, the thick bottom shines, making it eye-catching in any room. The design appears to have some needle etching and hand-wheel grinding in a sort of daisy floral pattern. When I first saw pieces like this, I could only think of it as"wavy glass" because I hadn't yet learned what that means in terms of art glass. Upon research I learned that this kind of glass is an antique form of early art glass production. Here is the definition that I found from Spectrum Glass: This decanter is a Full Antique according to the definition of antique glass identification. As follows from Spectrum Glass Company: Full Antique: Term applied to art glass produced by the historical mouth-blown cylinder method. Antique German Etched Glass Decanter Encased in 800 Silver Repousse Dates to the latter part of the 19th Century. Hallmarked(however I do not know the manufacturer's symbols) see photo. This is a beautiful mid- to late-1800's decanter marked"800 Germany" with intricate etching on the glass and encased in intricate silverwork. The silver stopper has the figure of a boy or cherub on top. This decanter is all original and in very good condition(the cork on the stopper looks old-don't know if it's original) I have not polished this piece-I leave that to the next owner! Antique Mary Gregory Decanter w/ Stopper Black Amethyst Glass Ghostly Boy Fishing Figure This beautiful decanter is hand blown from what you would think is jet black glass but if you hold it to the light you will see that it is a very dark purple/amethyst colored glass. This glass is much thinner than some of the Bohemian copies of the period. The tapering baluster shape on a large base gives the maximum area for the circle of hand applied small white enamel dots. The white enameled Mary Gregory Ghostly scene is a boy fishing with a caught fish. There is gold gilt trim on the top and neck of the stopper. Gilt is also around the top of the decanter and the base. The gilt trim is worn some. The decanter measures 12” tall with stopper in place and 8-1/2” without the stopper. The base is 2-7/8” The decanter base is in very good condition with ... moreno chips or cracks. The stopper has a small chip on the top edge where it inserts into the bottle(see photo) and a few small nicks on the inside bottom of the stopper. The stopper is numbered 53. Condition is very good. The white enameling is in superb order. No surface scratching. Scuffs or flaking. Pictures 1- 7 PLUS: included is a lidded dish that is in poor condition. Unfortunately. It has been broken and it has been glued back together in several places(see photos 8-12) The finial has a chip in the glass and a piece missing at the gold gilt neck. It has been glued back together also. It is a beautiful piece that has a Ghostly scene of a boy with a butterfly net and a butterfly flying. It has the same enameled design on the lid and small white enamel dots on the base as the decanter. The gilt is well worn. I have included it in spite of its condition. Displayed up on a shelf you would not see the broken flaws. The base and lid are numbered 29. Pictures 8-12

This decanter is either Georgian English or American and dates from the 1800's. It measures approximately 7 ½ inches high. The base measures 4 3/4 inches in diameter. It has the initials"P.C. engraved on it which stands for Peleg Clarke. A descendant of Jeremiah Clarke, was one the the eight founders of Newport. Rhode Island in 1639 and owned large tracts of land in Newport. He was the President of the Colony of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations. Also included is a copy of the original Application of Membership and Proof of Eligibility of The New Jersey Society of the Colonial Dames of America dated February 20. 1951. THIS IS A STUNNING EXAMPLE OF FINE OLD GEBRUDER KUHN 800 SILVER AND FINE OLD CUT CRYSTAL GLASS. IT IS ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! THE DECANTER IS 9 INCHES TALL AND APPROXIMATELY 9 INCHES IN DIAMETER- AT WIDEST. THE GLASS IS FINELY CUT CRYSTAL AND SHINES AND SHIMMERS. I CAN'T SEE ANY CHIPS OR CRACKS. THERE IS VERY MINOR CLOUDING IN THE BOTTOM WHICH INDICATES SOME USE OF THE DECANTER. I PUT SOME VINEGAR IN AND THAT HELPED A GOOD BIT. THE CLOUDING IS REALLY VERY MINOR. THE SILVER NECK AND HANDLE HAS NO PITTING- THE PHOTOS SHOULD SHOW THAT QUITE CLEARLY. THE FACETED FINIAL GLASS STOPPER IS ALMOST 3-1/2 INCHES AND IS ETCHED WITH THE NUMBER 19. THE SILVER NECK OF THE DECANTER IS MARKED WITH THE CRESCENT MOON AND CROWN MARKS FOR GERMANY. THE NUMBER 800. AND THE HORSE(UNICORN) MARK FOR GEBRUDER KUHN.

Antique Irish Ships Decanter
This antique Irish ships decanter is 8 3/4" tall and 7" across. It has dark green painted stripes that don't seem to have a pattern and some of that paint may have worn off over the years. I don't know if the bottle was originally clear. It is three pounds and has no chips. Cracks or damage but is without a stopper. Need help identifying the large gourd bottle in the last photo. Old Blown Molded Flint Glass Decanter with original stopper, Great condition
Old Glass collectors will love this piece. I think it is early Pairpoint or Mount Washington. But could be from other manufacturer. It is not signed. Certainly 19th century. Blown and molded with a beautifully polished pontil. It retains it's original stopper. The only damage is some scratching on the base. As would be expected, and a couple of very small losses on the stopper at the intersecting point, Otherwise I see no chips, or cracks, no crizzling or other signs of sick glass. Heavy weight. About 5 lbs, and large, standing 15" to top of stopper, and about 6" at widest point. A very nice early piece and a great buy at this no reserve. Low start auction.

The only damages to the glass I can see is a couple of small cracks on bottom of stopper but this doesn't show when the stopper is in and some scratches inside neck. Here we have an early 19th century blown vase with open pontil. I know this is not the"vase" catagory- but I'm just keeping it with the similar decanter and tumblers I have listed from the same estate and are shown in the last image in the ad. I don't think that there is a"right" category for this item. Anyway. I have to admit I have never owned an early blown and open pontilled vase of this nature before- they must be rare! Clean clear glass, lots of small bubbles. Heavy wear to high points of ribs of outer base rim. Measures 4 1/8" tall x 5" wide at flared rim. Unusual item! I never tried to become an expert in which factories made which patterns and variations- so please use your knowledge to accurately bid on any of the several early pieces I am currently listing separately and shown in the final ... morephoto of this ad.
