Antique Cut Glass Decanter With Stopper 9 1/2" Tall Hand Blown
This hand blown decanter measures 9 1/2" high(with stopper) and has hand engraved panels along bottom and oval shaped panels along the shoulder. The central area has a copper wheel engraved script with the word"RUM" engraved in center and the base has a polished pontil mark. Also of note. The stopper is original and fits tightly and is also hand blown and engraved with fluted facets. This hand blown bottle dates to the second half of the 19th century or earlier. We believe it is of English origin. Condition: overall in fine to excellent condition no cracks or damage, all original, glass is clear and could only benefit from a gentle cleaning. For your bidding consideration. I am pleased to offer this"CRANBERRY CUT TO CLEAR DECANTER" which I believe to be Bohemian and probably was produced pre-mid 1900's. This decanter has some nice sharp cuts and is not flash cranberry, it is approximately with stopper in place 16 1/2" tall and is excellent condition, I do not see or feel any chips, cracks, niks or hairlines on the decanter, the stopper has a couple sliver chips at the bottom(please review the last two photos for specifics) overall this decanter is very clean, except for the very center on the bottom(3/4" to 1" it is a little dirty perhaps a little cloudy, but trust it can be cleaned out with the proper brush, and this I mention for accuracy purposes. Set of 2 Large Dark Blue Vintage Italian Decanter Hobnail Approx. 23" Tall
The very last photo is the best representation of the actual color. One top has the very tip chipped off of it. This end is a little sharp. If set up so that the chip is facing the wall. It's hard to tell that the chip is there(see photos) Other than that. There are no other chips, cracks, etc. The Made in Italy stickers are original. I think these are mid-century, but there are 4 seams in the glass, probably just how it was made in Italy at the time. The tops don't have cork. Rubber or other seal. It's all glass. These were displayed in the same Utah home for many decades. Calculated shipping.
