Howdy Folks, This auction is for a Supertone mandolin. Vintage 1930s or 1940s. It's a sweet little instrument, but I'm cleaning out the storage space, so everything I'm not actively using has to go. Below are the details. Please read them carefully, as there are some issues with this instrument and I don't want the winner of this auction to be surprised. Looks at the pictures closely. Low and action and sounds great Rear of tuning heads covered with cool metal plate Small portion of bridge is broken off(the little carved part) however bridge is still functional Lots of pick wear on the face around the neck. This thing was played hard. see photo) There are well-repaired cracks on the front and back- much smaller on the back(see photo) There is another partially repaired crack around the top edge. This one is not as well repaired(at ... moreleast to me it's not) This crack goes from under the tailpiece. Around the top to almost even with the bottom of the soundhole. The original Supertone label inside has been"preserved" by some idiot covering it with clear tape(yes. This is a neat old fishing guide barometer in a hard plastic(Bakelite or celluloid) type case in the form of a large pocket watch. Gives the fisherman advice as to when to fish. At what depth, and also has an altitude adjuster on the back for the amount the location is above sea level. These"barometers" were found in many a fishing camp in the 1940-50s era and had a loyal following. Here on offer is a wonderful vintage Japanese celluloid kokeshi geisha in a rickshaw dating to the 1940s. The cream celluloid toy has hand painted details. It has quite fine moulded and hand painted detail. The wheels turn, they are a little loose on the spindle. The rickshaw has a canopy over the geisha. T here is Mount Fuji on the reverse of the chair and the roof of the canopy. The kokeshi is offered in good vintage condition. It measures about 9.5cm by 3.7cm by 7.2cm and weighs 17g This will make an interesting addition to a collection. Please see my pictures for the details of the condition. Vintage 1940s 10-inch Standard Replogle Terrestrial Globe-Before Isreal
This is a little beauty for a Machine Age Replogle terrestrial globe from the late 1940s! Nations which gained independence whose political names were still official on this globe are Palestine before the State of Israel was declared in 1948. French Indo-China(1954) Anglo-Egyptian Sudan(1956) and Rio de Oro(1956) among others. This machine pressed cardboard globe has a nice, deep ocean colored background, gores that fit nicely together and much of its paper equatorial band is still in place. It has a stamped tin time dial at the top and a stamped metal base that supports a Machine Age stamped and painted metal half meridian. There are some light stains along some of the margins of the gores, but they do not detract from its readability but seem to add to its vintage appearance. It stands 13 1/2 inches tall overall.

Vintage Camping Stove- "Prabhat" Brass Single Burner #1 (India, Circa 1940s)
201 Broadview Ave Warrenton. VA 20186 Vintage Camping Stove- Prabhat" Brass Single Burner#1(India. Circa 1940s) Powered by Offered here is vintage Prabhat Brass Stove(©1940s) in very good condition. Prabhat stoves were first manufactured in India under license from"Primus" during the 1930's. The stoves are now manufactured by"Indo Manufacturing. Ltd. This stove comes with three wrought metal leg supports soldered to the shiny brass fuel canister body which attach a single burner pot ring on top. Prabhat" is stamped in the center of the pot ring as well as on the outer ring of the burner cap. The top of the fuel tank is embossed with large raised letters. Shapes, and hieroglyphics-beautifully ornate and exotic. The 7" diameter brass base of the canister has"ProbhatIndia" stamped in two places ... morealong the edge. The container is raised 1½" off tabletop by the leg supports. And is approx. 2¼" deep. The name"Prabhat" is cast into tone side of the winged tank cap; India" is on the other side. Special" and"Original" are cast into the air bleed screw. There are two circular maker's marks-one on each side of the tank fill cap. One mark reads"Parbhat Produts Made in India" and has the initials PJ in the center. The second mark reads"original" and depicts a man blowing a horn within the circle. Please look carefully at the photographs to appreciate the craftsmanship. There is also a round pump on the side which works with ease. The stove appears to be generally well made. The legs are well-soldered to the body. The stove is well-sealed and there are no cracks or holes that we can see. The fuel tank is shiny brass with just some light patina and a few small dents and darkened areas. The burner top is dark with age and use. This stove comes with a small plastic Prabhat funnel. Up for auction is this beautiful matching set of a breadcrumb dustpan and brush. Both carved out of solid wood and hand inlaid with beautiful details and patterns. They have a western or Native American look to them and are absolutely gorgeous. The details in some areas remind me of feathers of arrows. The wood has a nice patina and the wood is still smooth and designs still quite attractive for their old age. These pieces are very superb! They do have some wear and a couple nicks here and there expected for its age. But the pieces are remarkably quite intact! The Hollywood American Legion Post No. 43 was organized in October 1919. And from its beginnings has had strong ties to the entertainment and music industries in Hollywood. Over the years, the Memorial Clubhouse in Hollywood has hosted numerous musical events including recordings by Disney Records and Columbia Records, with musicians and conductors ranging from Percy Faith to Bruno Walter. The Post even had two of its own bands-the Post 43 Band(members of which played at the Legion Stadium before boxing and wrestling matches, also doubled as the Post 43 Orchestra) and the Post 43 Sons of the Legion Band. Per Executive Committee decision. Post 43 is now offering up a part of its past-six metal music clips that were used for various instruments. Vintage 1940s Packard Bell Radio Model 568 Wood Case Working Missing Phonograph
Offered for sale is an old Packard Bell Radio. Model 568. It comes in a wooden carrying case. This model used to have a phonograph on the top shelf but it's no longer there. We turned it on and t he radio is in good working condition. It dates from the late 1940s. The call letters for the California radio stations are listed on the dial in addition to the standard numbers for AM radio(KNX. KFOX, etc) The handle on the case is missing. There are normal signs of wear and use on a 65 year old item. There are some scrapes. Paint and dirt on the outside of the case. It measures 15" by 13" by 8" tall and weighs 11 pound.

Description For sale here is a fine vintage 1940s 50s Georg Jensen sterling silver compact designed by Harald Nielsen. And with his designer monogram among the marks. Classic Art Deco design with applied and engraved dolphin design at center top. Measures 2-3/4" by 2-5/8" by 5/8" thick when closed and weighs 84.5 grams or 2.7 troy ounces. Marked as shown in my photos. Excellent vintage with just fine light wear- really remarkable condition considering it's age- see my photos for close-ups. Vintage white metal medicine cabinet w/ mirror & towle rack 1940s, 50s Lawson
Very nice Original Metal medicine cabinet with towel rack. This is made by F. H. Lawson company. There are some spots of rust. The rust gives it a nice vintage distressed look. This is a very strudy piece. I bought this at an estate auction last fall. The glass shelves are original and were wraped in a newspaper dating 1969. I think the age of this is from the 1940s or 1950s. The glass shelves have a couple chips and some staining. They function fine. And I did not attempt to clean them. The cabinet measure's 15.5 inches by 17.5 inches. The mirror is 20 inches at its highest point. The mirrored door is very heavy. This will be packaged with care.
