Marshall JMP-1 (with Voodoo Amps Standard Mod)
Up for sale is Marshall JMP-1 preamp with the Voodoo Amps's"standard mod" done to it. I bought this used myself. But contacted Voodoo Amps with the serial number and then confirmed the mod. Item is in good working condition. Cosmetically the power button is missing the end cap to the power button's cylinder(tube design) But it still works fine. I tried it out both with a power amp into a speaker cabinet as well as direct recording. I'm just chasing tone and trying out some other gear at the moment. But let's look at the mod service first! The Boss TR-2 delivers a classic effect and is on many pedal boards around the world. I have heard people say“The TR-2 is one that Boss did right. I still have my original TR-2 from a long time ago. I have always kept it on my board because I prefer that natural. Vintage feel. This mod makes it perfect for what I need! The original TR-2 has some issues: There is a drop in volume when the TR-2 is switched on. The depth effect is a little too subtle. The rate is a little limited. It would be nice to have more of a variety of ranges of speed. The TR-2 can get a little noisy. Especially when the band cranks up and you crank up with ... morethem. I considered getting my TR-2 modded years ago. Before I got into modding pedals. I wondered to myself at the time, Is it worth it? Well. Is it worth it now? You bet it is! Our mod takes care of those most important issues. Components and values are changed to stop the volume drop! We have greatly reduced any unwanted noise and distortion. Your old TR-2 will have a fuller sound. You can step on it live now with some confidence! Just doing these things would have been good enough. I could have gone on to my next project. But if you know me. You know I just could not bring myself to let it go there. Your TR-2 will now have two toggle switches that allow you to go beyond this pedal's normal range. These switches add an extra dimension to your TR-2's depth. Speed, and rate. These mods are not permanent change to your TR-2. Just switch on for the effects. Switch off for normal factory settings. OK. I know our" flashing rate mod" does not improve the sound. But your LED will now flash in time with the rate of your pedal! This pedal was amazing before I had the mods done by Keeley last summer. But know it is over the top tone monster. I loved using it with my DS-1(in front) to push that pedal even further. And, it is true about this pedal, it adds some type of low end compression that tightens up your tone very organically even when the distortion is turned all the way down. I am including the instruction sheet from Keeley that explains what was done and how to use the pedal. I am in the process of building a new rig with different pedals so these need to go. 2012 CANNONDALE SUPERSIX EVO HI-MOD 56cm DURA-ACE DI2 K-Force Hollowgram 9.2 lbs
Awesome Supersix EVO that retailed for a bit over 11k. 2013's are 12k. This bike has a scratched/cracked top tube from falling over and landing on a rock. I believe it could be ridden this way with no problems, but would suggest you have Calfee, Spyder composites, etc. fix it. Calfee would do it for about $400 painted I believe since the affected area is less than 1/2 of the diameter of the tt. The bike is built with Full Dura-Ace DI2 Electronic System, except the crankset which is a Cannondale Hollowgram, which is as good a crank as there is. Dura-ace cassette and DI2 charger are not pictured, but are included. FSA K-force bars/stem/seatpost, and Fizik Antares saddle finish out the build, and as pictured this beauty weighs 9lbs 3oz or just a shade under 9.2 lbs. Bike weighed 14.3 fully built with pedals/bottle cages and the Ksyrium SLR ... moreall black wheelset which is not pictured or included. I am keeping the wheels. Black Russian Big Muff Pi with'NOS Creamy Dreamer' mod and 9v Boss style power adapter jack. This item is used. It is in good cosmetic condition. Showing only minor scuffs/signs of wear. This pedal has been modified according to Brian Wampler's'Creamy Dreamer' specs. Plus some extra modifications that I have found to increase the sustain and depth of fuzz, as well as returning some of the mid-range to the EQ of the pedal. The pedal has been updated with a 2.1mm Boss style power jack, and retains the 9V battery capability as well. As you can see from the internal shot, the original wiring has been completely replaced with higher gauge copper wire. The pedal has been converted to true-bypass. The original low quality pots have been replaced with high quality Alpha potentiometers. All other components replaced are of better ... morequality as well(1% metal film resistors, polyester film/ ceramic capacitors, etc. The LED indicator has been upgraded to a high visibility white light. For the'NOS' mod. I have replaced the BC547C stock transistors with NOS 2N5133's, which were commonly used in vintage Electro-Harmonix effects. I was pleased with the result. The original pedal was first produced from 1981 to early 1985 and were then discontinued. But due to public demand the TS9 was reissued in the early 90’s and is currently still in production. K2 MOD 5 Bike (size L ~56cm) with complete Dura Ace 7800 group & FSA parts
This auction is for a used 2003 K2 MOD 5.0 bike size Large(roughly equal to 56cm) with Shimano Dura-Ace 7800 components and FSA wheels. The bike was used for two seasons. Then hung up. There are some very small scuffs on the frame, and some small scratches on the left lever and rear derailleur that I tried to capture in the pics, but the bike is in very good condition. New parts include. Ultegra chain, new 7800 right shifter(had it laying around) cables, and tape. The crankset has a few hundred miles on it and was then removed(for an FSA crank) and has no scuff marks on either arm. There are two parts to this mod. First. Switchable analog feel” and then and effects loop. Players can now take the industry standard compact delay and select between 2 different smoothing caps that give it an analog delay feel or set it for the stock sound! All of this via a small three way toggle switch. We transform the Direct Out of the stock BOSS DD-3 and convert it into an effects loop so that you can add any effect just to the repeats. This set includes a 20” x 22” Bass Drum. A 6.5” x 14” snare drum, a 12” x 8” mounted tom with GTS suspension mounting hardware, and a 16” x 14” Floor Tom. This is the earliest First Generation model which uses the one piece bent front support, chrome plated legs and also has the enameled steel shell. The cover snaps onto the shell, also a trademark of the early ones. Not much else needs to be said other than the fact that this is an Icon of the entire Mid-Century design movement. I believe that the upholstery is original although I am not 100% sure since there are no visible labels. It sounds very little like the stock DS-1- it has a rich. Heavy tone with a touch of compression(provided by the'Seeing Eye' and a lot of dimension and character. This horn is stunning in every way with no dents. very lite lacquer loss around. The tunning slide form when I had her ultra sounded. The valves have been replated a few years back by Anderson Silver Plating and are in like new condition with very little play time. This is a Classic horn great for Jazz or lead or anything in between with nimble response. And excellent intonation.If this is the Model you desire, you will not be disapointed with this show peice.
