I have a very impressive and great condition early cut glass MASTER SALT dating to approx. the 1850s; it is a classic pedestal design. Probably Waterford cut glass. The high quality is amazing, with immaculate finely beveled edges and sawtooth design-finest workmanship. The salt is 3-1/4" tall and 3-1/4" across. Excellent+ condition, it does have some very very minor flaking around the bottom edges, no serious collector would object, a SCARCE early salt, very unlikely to find in this great condition. This is a scarce early salt in excellent condition! Measures 3-1/4" across. 1-7/8" tall. Dates to around 1850(my guess) The entire salt appears to have been cut from a solid block of glass; all the sides and edges show tiny facets from being cut to shape! All the decoration is cut in; completely handmade. Deep color and very heavy; does ring when tapped. I've seen one other salt like this, but it was badly damaged. This auction is for an Engermann Bohemian Cut-To-Clear Decanter. This decanter has a grape on vine motif and is etched. It is very good condition with minor signs of use and storage. It has a sharp pontil and a ground to fit stopper. Some of the ruby stain has miniscule scratches and the stopper has a few flea bites. The decanter is in overall very good condition. It measures 14 7/8' inches tall and has a diameter of 3 1/8' inches. There are a few tiny air bubbles. But are insignificant. 19thC Antique German Cut Glass Decanter Box/ Chest On auction is an antique German inlaid wood veneer.Footed decanter chest. The handsome chest has goldtone metal decorative hardware. The felt lined inside has precise fitting felt lined cut out locations for 2 cut glass decanters with stoppers and a cut glass container in-between. Inside the center container is a old piece of tape with the inscription" Dick's dad brought from Germany year 1860" The beautifully crafted box has some of the inlaid wood in the corners missing and one of the cut glass stoppers has a chip on the bottom part which goes inside the decanter and is not noticeable. This is a wonderful accessory and a very collectable decanter chest.

I don't know the exact year but I would speculate it is from the 1930s or 40s. it belonged to my great aunt, she died in the 90s, at a very old age, it was pasted along to my father and has been in storage since then. Lovely antique. Circa 1880, ruby cut to clear perfume bottle with hinged ornate repousse silver lid. It is not hallmarked, but has been tested as silver. Original undamaged glass stopper. One small vertical chip to the side of the bottle. See picture. Otherwise just minor fleabites. The lid has no dents and closes tightly. The hinge is in good working order. Stuck on the rim of the silver mount. Is a small dark and hard lump, see picture. Seems difficult to remove without risking damage. The pictures were taken both in daylight and incandescent light. Wonderful Bohemian Czech Facet Cut Art Deco Crystal Vase. This lovely vase is heavy weighting nearly 6 lbs. The color is a light topaz crystal with fine facet cut panels with beveled edges going around the vase. It is quite large standing 9 1/2" tall and over 6 1/2" across. Color is very pretty. Not too dark as some topaz can be. It is in wonderful condition with one tiny fleabite shown in photo#5& 6. Normal surface wear to the base. Attributed to Moser, c.1920-30 but may be Kulka(another fine Bohemian glass firm) from same period. No signature or label. The quality of the crystal is amazing and these are one of the nicest sets of crystal cut glass cutlery rests I have had the pleasure to sell. There are no cracks or chips on the cutlery rests. However I can see a few nibbles from use, but they are over 100 years old and have obviously been lovingly used. Each cutlery rest measures 8.4cm in length by 3.2cm and collectively the cutlery rests weigh 173 grams.
