The glass bowl is one of the nicest that I have seen. It has fabulous Enamel Decorations, of leaves and floral detailing. It measures approx 12-1/2" diameter. It is in Excellent Condition- I would call it perfect albeit a most minor flat spot on the rim that appears to be a manufacturing nuance, not damage. I have looked at this with a magnifying glass and it is obvious after observing this first hand that it is not a chip but a flat spot somehow done during manufacture. Although extremely difficult to view, I have a pic of the area shown in my last pic. The frame is in Excellent Condition. Made of Quadruple Silver Plate by the Wilcox Silver-Plate Co. It stands approx 10-3/4" tall and approx 12-3/4" across. Both the decorated bowl and the Silver-Plate frame are gorgeous. The item comes direct from the collection of an area advance collector. Sold to me when settling her estate. The underside of the bowl bears a sticker that either she attached or was the sale price back in the day. The glass bowl will be packaged and shipped in a separate parcel from the silver plate frame in order to assure as best one can safe delivery. It is 82" long and ... more39" high to the center at the back. This sofa is ornate with hand crafted hard wood decor about 2" thick in dark brown color of the grape and leaf patterns. The cushion is about 4" at highest point. 58" long without arm, and 20" deep. It is an original tanned upholstery with the small mauve flower pattern. It is decorated with some fabric buttons on the cushion. The cushion is very firm. There are 3 light water stains on the cushion sitting area as shown in the pictures. There is a small worn area on the fabric of the left arm. No major damage on the cushion. The cushion is 5" high from the floor. It has the brass rivets stitched along the cushion all the way around the front. The arm is 24 1/2" high from the floor. Each arm of the sofa has embossed hand crafted grape leaf design. There is a wooden surface damage on the top right arm. The stitching at the back along the left arm has come detached about 2" The legs are very stunning with the hand carvings on wood about 2 3/4" thick. The end of the legs have brass wheels about 1" diameter. There is a tear at the back on right foot area of the upholstery about 2" but it is not noticeable. The back felt cover is purple/ blue, it is faded. There are rusty nails holding back cover, that is partially torn off. The bottom of the couch covered with the fabric, it is old, has no tears. All the tears mentioned can be fixed. All is in great shape. This piece is really classic antique look, was kept well by our grandmother circa 1800's. Sold as is. Local pick-up only. 2 1/2" high an 2 1/2" wide. there are three chips onthe top of one. 1 major, 1 small& 1 tiny. Missing one cork, other than that they are in great condition. No makers mark. Made of very white porcelain(identified by the bottom. the top is ivory color with gold accents and beading around the edge. Background is a deep moss green and dark reddish-brown(sienna? maybe airbrushed on. The roses are deep pink variations with brush marks and teal gree-blue leaves fade to white tips. This Victorian ceramic master salt cellar measures 5 1/2" high in back x 6" wide and has an attractive cobalt blue floral decoration on it with the word"SALT" in black letters on front. The bottom is marked"GERMANY" and it still retains its original tiger maple lid which is hinged in back. This type of master salt was used either on the countertop or also has a slot on back so it can be hung on a wall in the kitchen. Condition: there is a 3 1/2" hairline on back side(not seen from front) and the wooden lid is cracked on back and the brass hinges are loose due to the brass tacks coming loose. Lovely antique porcelain. Delicate open salt dishes for individual place settings, a set of 5 pieces, marked"Imperial China.Austria"with the mark of a lion encircled by a wreath.all in green. The bottom has no glaze. Believed to be Victorian.around 1900. Each little dish is 3 7/8" long, just under 2 1/2" wide, and 3/4" high. These dishes have gilded rims and gilded fleur di lis at the bottom of each. There are three different flower designs: a. a swag of small leaves and delicate pink roses; b. a swag of delicate white and pink roses, and; c. a swag of large leaves and delicate white and pink roses. ANTIQUE VICTORIAN STYLE HEIRLOOM PLATE SALT AND PEPPER SHAKERS
Selling this pair of antique Victorian style salt and pepper shakers. Bottom is marked heirloom plate with the number 395. Shakers stand 5" tall. Research done on them has indicated they are likely to be late 1800's in age. And unknown silver colored material, possibly silver plated. The silver coloring in has heavy wear, showing the metal below. Although they have wear, there is no scratched or dents. Please see all pictures so you can properly evaluate the condition. Antique 19th C VICTORIAN CHILDREN SALT PEPPER SHAKERS Girl & Boy Kate Greenaway
This is a pair of 19th century hand painted pottery figural salt and pepper shakers. They are Kate Greenaway style Victorian children with blue eyes and blonde hair- the little girl has her hands in a muff and is wearing a green and pink bonnet and the little boy has his hands in the pockets of his long coat and has a black hat with gold trim. They are unmarked and are in good condition without any chips or cracks and very little paint wear- they both have pin hole sized glaze pops that occurred during manufacture and are mentioned only for accuracy's sake. fine and rare 2 pair of antique Victorian salt and pepper shakers ca 1890's. Wonderful set of a pug dog or bull dog with another dog, in good shape chip on back of mutt not pug, otherwise great, the next set is inspired by Kate Greenaway of a boy and girl in a bonnet, pair in great shape, one age line on back of girls bonnet, otherwise mint, the shakes measure about 3 1/2 by 3 inches, very rare to find salt and pepper shakers this old, they really had just come into being in the 1860's so these shakers were a bit of a novelty at the time, again piece in good shape for age,hope they go to a good home or collection, items sold as is thanks and good luck!
