And it doesn't get more unusual than this. It's a wire& composite upper dental plate that was found in a five generation farm house in Wayne County, Ohio. Why no one threw out Great Grandpa's plate I have no idea, but they must have been quite fond of it and kept it around. It spans 2.25" across and about 1.75" long. It has a wire form with some sort of composite material molded around it. There are a series of numbers and letters also pressed into the material that I am assuming was a code for the particular tooth size or location. Each of these numbers/letters were individual type blocks that were put into the main mold and impressed into the ... moreslurry. It's upside down and reversed when reading it. Below each inscription are a series of holes that I assume where the for the teeth. An interesting piece of dental history. INSURANCE: Since ebay has taken away the insurance option in the listing.
