Antique SS White Electric Desktop Dental Dentist Drill 1938 Nickel Plate Rare! Hi everyone. I have this rare SS White Electric Desktop Dentists Drill Today. This piece is extremely heavy so as not to fall off the desk onto the patient during the procedure. Excellent condition and running smoothly. This drill has 2 speeds on the model 11 motor. I can't say for sure that the high and low speeds work. It runs the same as far as I can tell with the way it sounds. I can't tell if the drill is spinning faster or not. The base has a plate on it that reads mount for SS White Electric Motor Laboratory Type. The base has a bit of corrosion on part of it. Pictured below. The arm is 4 pieces to accomodate about any angle or direction you need to get into for the procedure. There is a little bit of rust on the arms in a few places. Industrial Antique SS White Dentist Drill Dental Pulley Hook Vintage Steampunk
For your consideration is a section of an antique dental drill. Marked SS White. This section of the instrument would have been attached to the power source. Included here is the main black shaft(brass underneath) with mounting holes at the base, and two more nickel plated hinged shafts, each with double pulleys. There is a double hook at the top of one shaft and a drill bit at the bottom of the other. Top shaft rotates 90 degrees; bottom shaft rotates 180 degrees. In remarkable condition. Smooth functioning. A beautiful piece to collect, complete a set, or re-purpose for Industrial Interior. Measurements: black base arm 21" long. Middle arm 16.5" end arm 11.5" drill just over 6" double hooks 3.5" widest, pulley wheels 1/4 insert.

This nightmare inducing device was made to last with a sturdy and beautiful decorative cast iron base and pulley wheel and has original paint and striping. The paint is chipped in places on the base. Some of the striping is faded and the heel of the pedal has broken off. All pulley wheels spin freely and the arm folds and moves easily. Sorry no pulley cable. Antique SS WHITE DENTAL DRILL STAND Motor Belt Driven Dentist Doctor Office VTG
Here is an antique SS White dental drill on stand with variable speed control(that is also reversible! and Densco dentist drill on long articulating arm. All in VG condition and runs fine. Stands about 54" tall. Electric motor runs smoothly and evenly, the belt driven dental drill works fine but note that the belt is worn and frayed so will need replacing if planning to use. The foot pedal speed control also working fine, is either continuously variable, or has 4'stops' to hold that particular speed(and is variable between those stops) plus both the motor pulley and drill pulley are stepped so have more variation in speeds. In VG physical condition(especially considering age) with some light wear in paint- please see the many photos. Antique Steampunk Emesco Electric Model 90N Belt Driven Dentist DRILL
This is a classic belt driven dental engine. I remember my dentist using one like this in the 60's( do you remember the scary headlight reflector they wore in those days? This unit is in very good condition-even the electric cords are fine to use as is. It is a handy table top model for those of you who would use it for craft work. The foot control is OK. From my limited research. You should have no problem finding a belt for it from a dental supply house. Zoom in on the photos and check it carefully-this is an excellent buy! Antique Dentist’s Drill with Pedal System. In Quite Good Condition. Made Circa 1900 This interesting device is a dentist’s drill made in the early 20th century. An antique and particularly charming puece. It was manufactured circa 1900 and is in quite good condition and working order. The drill works with a pedal system and its manipulation is quite basic: the pedal pushes a rod connected to the bottom wheel. The wheel turns the impulse into a rotating movement that makes the drill turn through a string. The drill itself is located at the end of a long flexible metal nozzle. The drill’s bit is missing but the device the rest of the original component parts. The drill’s base is made of black cast iron. Solid and sturdy, and it reminds us somewhat of antique sewing machines’ foots. This is logical as the operation mechanism(a pedal system that ... morecreates a rotating movement) is more of less the same. The iron surface is decorated with wavy gaps and filigree forms, very much to the taste of those times. The iron wheel and the rod the supports the silvery metal mechanism are both embellished with a delicate golden motive: a modernist-style fringe composed of volutes, flowers and straight lines. This painted decoration is in good condition and is almost complete. Providing subtleness and elegance to the drill: its presence is high remarkable in such a functional machine. Over the iron base we can see the silvery metal rod that connects with the flexible nozzle in which end is located the dentist’s tool. All the set is in fine condition: the metal look polished and shiny with almost no trace of rust or distressed surfaces. Antique Cast Iron Dentist Drill. circa 1920s-1940s. This peice of history would be great for display in an office or medical device collection. Look around and you won't find one of these! This is a hard to find model and would be that special historical conversation piece to add to any room. HISTORY: This was likely made for use in the army during either world war 1 or 2 due to its lack of ornate features usually seen in models meant for commercial use. My grandfather was a dentist in Germany and came to the states in the late 1940s. He brought this over with him along with many other dentistry items.This pedal drill was what he used while practicing in Germany during the 1920s through 1940s. Up for auction is a S.S. White antique electric Desk Dental drill. This is very rare to be have in this condition and working. Has a great dark wood look to it. No rust that I can see anywhere. I am pretty sure this is a string drill. String included. Serial# 24840 Volts 110 Amps 1 Cycles 60 Model 11 motor. Reads Made in the US of A. Includes the drill that is attached which reads No. 9. Also a extra S.S. White drill, S.S. White Handpiece Ease Special Lubricating Grease(used) and 5 Pack of S.S. White burs No. 560 unopened. It measures about 29 inches tall or more and weighs around 30 lbs. The arm reads S.S. White No 7c. Everything original and is a great piece of dental history.
