Dental Tray Ritter Manufacturing
This is an old glass DENTAL TRAY. It was made(and marked on bottom) by the RITTER DENTAL MANUFACTURING CO. INC. ROCHESTER N.Y. This company was in operation from 1887-1919. In their catalog, I believe the tray is referred to as a"Bosworth Table" looking at their equipment pictures. The pictures is more like the actual color of this tray(I couldn't get an accurate color)which is a cross between CUSTARD and MILK GLASS. Size is a large 14-3/8" it has a raised ring around the bottom elevating it. This is being used in present day for WEDDING CAKES due to its large, stable size and classy look. 3 Vintage Ritter Dental Chairs - Ready for Tattoo shop or salon
This auction is for 3 Ritter vintage dental chairs. The tag refers to them as“Motor Chairs” but they are not motorized– all adjustments are manual or hydraulic. There are two Model B chairs from the early 40’s(Chairs#1 and#2) and one Model K from the late‘30’s(chair#3) All three chairs are clean and functional. The original leather is in good to very good condition. There is no rust and the chrome plating shows no pitting. All adjustments have been lubed and work smoothly except as noted. Chair#1 works perfectly. Chair# 2 works perfectly except it gets a little wobbly when the chair is raised all the way up(appears to be adjustable) Chair#3 does not recline. We believe the tension screw is seized and broken off. Also, Chair#3 lifts slowly and only about half as high as the other two. It may need hydraulic oil. There are chips and some cracks ... morein the paint, but it does not detract from the charm of these chairs. The headrests on chairs#1 and#2 were replaced some time in the past. Chair#3 has its original headrest in good condition. Overall these chars are in terrific condition and have a nice patina. These chairs are very heavy. If local pick-up is not an option. Would make a great collectable for the dental professional or maybe put it to use again! It looks and feels like it should work fine! All knobs turn freely as does the pressure regulator knob on the top! The nickel plating has worn off most of the valve, revealing the brass underneath. I wouldn't do anything to polish it up for fear of losing the beautiful patina it displays now, after all the years of use! Also great for the steampunk collectors! Antique Victorian Era Ritter 12426 Dental Drill, Some Fun Steampunk Projects
This unit appears complete except for the wall swing-arm and drill bits. I did plug it in and pushed the foot pedal- the first couple times I got a hum and a fraction of a second of spin on the actual drill. but after that. Nothing- not even a hum. Point being that while it's not working, it may not be a significant project to get it working(though it also could be a big project) The whole system is connected with no obvious easy way to disassemble- and the entire system weighs in at about 30 pounds. The patent dates on it range from 1895 to 1902, though the actual production date could yet be a few years later than 1902(I have no idea how long this exact model was in use before it was updated with additional patents) For being about 110 years old, it's in pretty reasonable condition. vintage Ritter dental Xray machine pedistal 30s industrial steampunk cabinet age
X-ray machine base with controls and swiveling meters intact from a 1930's unit. Cabinet has a cast metal base and top with a steel frame and sheet metal body. Measures about 46" tall by 14" wide. Ritter also made xray equipment for other medical purposes. Plug is intact but the transformer is still wired in so that should be bypassed if you want to alter into a lamp of use with other 110 devices. Great mad scientist laboratory look. Color is light grey. There is a small porcelain socket to light the red jewel at the top front to indicate that the power is on. Sturdy and weighs over 100 pounds so no shipping. OLD Antique Electric Motor for Ritter Air Compressor - dental instrument
This motor runs(the third photo shows it running) But it will not start spinning on its own: you have to turn it on. Then twirl the shaft manually to get it going. After that. It runs fine and is very smooth, with no suspicious noises or smells. the brushes barely even spark when the motor is running. It is only 1/6HP and measures 9 1/2" long. 8" wide, and 8 1/2" tall. It does have some paint loss from age. Please allow for it to ship to your street address. Not a p.o. box.

For sale is an Antique Ritter Intra-Oral Stereoscope in excellent working condition. This device was used to check Dental exrays by placing them in the viewer. The lens has an adjustable turn wheel to adjust the lenses in and out. I put two glass slides in to show the view(picture#12) I replaced the rotten cord to make it safe when we bought years ago. Here is a fairly old Dentist air pump. It was manufactured by the Ritter Dental Equipment Company. I do not know how old it is or if it was for pumping. Or vacuum. It does turn, and makes pumping sounds. All shipping is to be paid by buyer. I am selling in auction just the top mounted compressor, if buyer wants to pay shipping on the electric motor, and the valve in-between, I would let them have them reasonable, if bidding become elevated, above say $50, buyer may have the motor for shipping costs.
