Antique dental Cabinet Unit. Vintage Electro Dental switchbox. Unique dental switch box. Loaded with gauges. Dials, and terminals. This dental switch box is mounted onto its original mahogony cabinet. A rare find and a nice display. The dental swithbox was used to control and regulate power to any of several devices used in the dental exam room. Lighting. X-ray, drills and suction were all controlled by this"high tech" device. The exterior of the mahogony cabinet on this unit has been recently refinished. The wiring to the light bulb has been replaced. Industrial Antique SS White Dentist Drill Dental Pulley Hook Vintage Steampunk
For your consideration is a section of an antique dental drill. Marked SS White. This section of the instrument would have been attached to the power source. Included here is the main black shaft(brass underneath) with mounting holes at the base, and two more nickel plated hinged shafts, each with double pulleys. There is a double hook at the top of one shaft and a drill bit at the bottom of the other. Top shaft rotates 90 degrees; bottom shaft rotates 180 degrees. In remarkable condition. Smooth functioning. A beautiful piece to collect, complete a set, or re-purpose for Industrial Interior. Measurements: black base arm 21" long. Middle arm 16.5" end arm 11.5" drill just over 6" double hooks 3.5" widest, pulley wheels 1/4 insert.

Antique 1900's Dental Stand Black Glass Iron Medical Table Vintage Industrial
Listing this evening a great old dentist's office item from the early 1900's. This particular stand was removed from a dentists office when he acquired a new"stainless steel" unit from his dental supply salesman sometime around 1955. The stand is 33 1/2" tall. 16 1/2" wide(at the widest point) and 14 1/4" deep. The frame is iron with glossy black paint. The shelves are made of clear thick plate glass that has had multiple coats of black paint applied to the underside of the glass. From a distance it would appear that the shelves are made of black glass. The condition of the iron is excellent(no breaks or rust) The condition of the glass is variable. The top shelf(16" x 14" has the most wear because it was obviously used more often. There are many scratches on the top shelf as well as some chips on ... morethe edges(see pics) The two lower shelves(12" x 10" are in better condition(less scratches and only 2 chips on the back of the lowest shelf) These stands don't come around very often because they were often thrown out when those new stainless steel stands appeared. It's old! This was also in the same lot of dental tools& supplies dating back to maybe early 1900's-1920's or earlier. The S.S. White Dental MFG. CO. This little box contains a Screw Plate Holder the 2 taps are missing. I have no idea what function it performed! Slight rust, but should clean up nicely. The little box is original with a partial label. In small print reads, Recommended by Dr S. H. Guilford Dean of the Philadelphia Dental College"The box alone with partial label is a wonderful piece of history. Approx.3 11/16" x 1 1/2" x 9/16" I did some research on the history of(Informal) The Philadelphia Dental College. In 1856(Formal) The Philadelphia College of Dental Surgery became Pennsylvania College of Dental Surgery. Who knows how long the informal name was used?Also I found out that"DOC Holiday" ... moregraduated from Philadelphia Dental College in 1872. I never found any information about Dr. S.H. RARE Vintage KERN Surgical / Dentistry Tool Antique Extraction Dental Surgery
Up for auction today is what I think is a vintage surgical/ Dentistry tool. It is marked KERN-USA-PAT-PEND on the outside of each handle. The pliers looking portion measures 7” long and the hook portion measures 11” long. The patent pending shows it age. I am not sure exactly what this was used for but KERN made tools for dentistry and surgery. I did not clean these and left the original patina( and probably DNA) on the tool. The handles have a nice knurling and would look great polished. The hook portion has the name RALPH stamped on it. Please see photos to determine condition. Vintage H.G. Kern tooth extractor- puller. Good vintage condition for age. Has some rust and pitting. HORATIO G. KERN was in the surgical instrument business in Philadelphia before and during the Civil War. He was a contract supplier of medical instruments to the Union Army during the Civil War. During the 1860's his location was at 25 N. 6th in Philadelphia. Instrument is 7 1/2 inches long and stamped H.G Kern. PHILADA on both sides.

Description Wonderful antique Ransom Randolph wood traveling dental cabinet/ case. This great old case is made of oak. And has not been refinished to my knowledge. It has seven drawers: the top three drawers have pop-up divided trays for dental instruments; the bottom four have divided compartments, and include several removable storage pieces. Brass plate on top says“The Ransom Randolph Co. Toledo, Ohio/ Pat. Apl’d For” Case measures approximately 13” tall. 11” long, and 9” wide. The hardware appears to be original, and it has most of an original key that is partially broken(the head is missing) I have not tried to use the key, as I’m afraid to push it all the way inside the lock for fear of not being able to get it back out. Vintage Antique Industrial Articulating Arm Dental Table Steampunk Lamp Bracket
For your consideration is this antique articulating dental work table. The adjustable mechanical arm has a bare metal finish and has a 1915 patent date. The arm will adjust from 25" to a total length of 50" The arm has 9" of vertical rise. A trigger type release allows the table height adjustment. The 15 1/4" marble table is all intact and has a great patina. The Brazilian Cherry wall base is 4 5/8" x 13" The arm and table operate great and has lots of character. The piece has scratches and tarnish which add to the character. It has been cleaned and given a hand rubbed wax finish.this is a beauty and fun to use! The lamp is not included. We have up for auction seven bone handle antique dental tools. This is being relisted because of the last buyer never paid. All the handles are made of bone or some other material. They are not plastic or artificial material. They are all fresh from a local estate sale. The main tool is a antique tooth extractor. It is a little over 6” long and the T handle is about 3 ½” The working end is metal and has a spring loaded lever mechanism near the bottom. When this lever is pushed it enables the end to rotate and lock into another position. The“T” handle does have two small nicks one one end. There are 7 tools in all. Six of the tools are picks and scrapers. Two of those 6 are brass.One of them is brass and hollow. This looks like it held a small piece in the end( maybe bits or smaller picks) The metal tool ends are a little rusty or corroded. ... moreOne piece is missing the brass ferrule near the end. I was told these date from about the middle of the 1800’s or earlier. None of these tools have been cleaned or modified. Please see all the photos for more detail.
